They should do DMF alternating every other week with Blingtron. Then in parallel we have Siege/Raid alternate every other week and give two “events” per week.

Not sure the extra 50 gold makes up for getting these half as often, but I guess it's something.

Or if they want to slow things down. Alternatively they could have done a bi-weekly change and allowed Molten/Sieges to run simultaneously with Bling/DMF. Achieves the same goals but gives us more time to strategize on the bosses. First week Molten Core was a pain trying to strategize each boss in a day. I come home from work. Wife and I strategize on a boss, work out its defeat. We originally wanted to come up with our own strategizes, but quickly realized we didn't have time, and even with youtube help we couldn't get to and defeat rag.

I was missing DMF/Blingtron last week dearly, quite some gold-loss nowadays once you relied on it :( on the other hand, I honestly have to say that with Molten Core AND DMF/Blingi it might have gotten quite stressful for a (mostly) F2P-account, from the available playtime per day compared to the time and tries it takes to get through already 1! Molten Core boss (not to mention whether a suitable and ideally decently strong guildmate is online at all at the same moment as you - but that is another story about the match-making that surely needs improvement).

This really bothers me. Having DMF or Blingtron every week finally felt like progress. Now they cutting that in half.

Yes, and they offer rewards as well. Even players with lower levels that can only complete sieges can progress their decks with valor upgrades and other rewards earned through siege victories. Raid week will be the only week of the month that won’t offer progression for such players beyond what they can get through PvP and the campaign, but players that aren’t able to do raids at all likely haven’t advanced to the final regions of the heroic campaign anyway, so it only makes sense that they use that time to instead push heroics. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure everyone will miss the extra resources from constant DMF or Blingtron events, but now on the weeks those aren’t available people can instead earn rewards from raids and sieges-which most everyone would say are more fun than playing a map they’ve played fifty times with a specific mini for shinies, or running the same map until the DMF chest RNG treats you better than it treats the AI.

Most copium ever, the event offer more game time and rewards then the seiges and raids so I think thise is a huge downgrade. But thay love make one step forward and two steps back progress in thise game.

@@kallesvensson253 It’s an ad-free, free-to-play game that now offers a plethora more free resources than it did at launch. Are the folks at Blizzard likely hoping people will now see some reason to buy the $5 month-long gold and tome bundle? I’d imagine. But given that it’s the best value offer the game has seen outside of the booster-and that it is inexpensive-it hardly feels unfair. Putting $5 toward progression in a game that just released not only raids, but also sieges-a game mode that wasn’t even anticipated-doesn’t seem unreasonable to me. And people that only want to keep enjoying the free resources, albeit at a reduced frequency, can continue to do so.
