A lot has been going on this last week. I am making a push to get the garden in shape for the summer. I am out from about 7 until 10-then it gets too hot.

Glad I dropped in, Truly enjoyed your tour. Loved EVERYTHING . . I'm so jealousy of all your tropicals! Reminds me of the years I would travel to Jax, Fl and come home w/ sago palms. I don't know how you take care of all you have. It just went on and on. But I'm truly jealous. I'll drop in again on another of your videos soon.

Well Gary…you probably scrapped a video that would’ve become very popular…how NOT to remove cactus thorns from your finger!😂 Good to see you & Miss Mimi doing well. Youve been busy this week. So have I. I, too, concentrated on cutting back/trimming up overgrown shrubs. I have some loropetalum in the front yard that gets huge & I always dread having to cut them back because the leaves get stuck all over me. Behind them, against the house, are two giant variegated pittosporum shrubs so in this front bed it can get rather crowded. (I always say a prayer before taking on this task that there be no snake appearances while working in this area.) Bought a pink “butterfly candy” bush while shopping for fertilizer, etc at Lowes. I don’t have any idea where it’s going to go but I’ve been hearing a lot about them & I like the pink. (I’ve already got a couple of the purple “pugsters”. Hope you have a great week😊

I've only ever seen one snake in 31 years. So I've been lucky( I did move it on to another yard.) I always pray when over my head in shrubs that I don't get poked. For some reason my forearms bruise very easily and I wind up with black and blue marks all over. I almost made it unscathed this week. At the end of one day I saw a big weed under a gardenia and while reaching for it I got poked by a stub-a sign to stop for the day.
