You are so brave. I’ve had several long MRI’s. I have spinal stenosis and multi-level degenerative disc disease. I’m very claustrophobic and I’m in pain, all the time. Even with sedition I panic! I’m so sorry you have to go through this. My wife, recently, finished chemo and radiation for a very aggressive uterine cancer. I wish that hospitals would install open MRI machines. It helps! My thoughts and prayers are with you.😊🇨🇦

I was on that chemo ,folfox only could drink hot tea and coffee it was tough my feet and hands are numb mostly at night while sleep, winter I had to wear two pair of gloves, thick socks at night, I had it six months, the positive thing is according to the scans my body reacted well to this chemo, getting surgery in four weeks, praying 🙏 for you the doctors will find something that will work, you got this I worry constantly too it’s normal and ok but do everything you can to continue your strong 💪 positive attitude during a difficult time.🌹❤️

Merck has a compassionate care program for Keytruda. My husband has cholangiocarcinoma and has responded well to it.

I have stage IV lung cancer and I’m responding really well to Key Truda as well. I’m also on 2 chemotherapy medications, carboplaxin and taxol. It’s hell dome days but seems to be working so far.

My heart goes out to you. My mother died from this cancer in 2009. She went in for gall bladder surgery and found out she only had weeks to live. Treatment has come along way in only 13 years. I hope they find a cure or an effective way to keep it from growing soon.

Let's talk about what's really important. Your hair looks great! It's lovely and it really suits you! I'm sorry that you had that stinky, difficult appt. You're getting care where I've gotten care (if I understood you correctly in a past video). A great place with so many wonderful, caring people. Am glad that you have reason to feel that way about your dr. Facts and yucky reality is of course the issue, but kindness and genuine caring go a long way in helping deal with it all. Yes, they say that being positive can only help our treatment to succeed. BUT, denying our feelings feeds dysfunction in our bodies, I think. So, I applaud you for expressing your honest feelings. When you do that, you give me and so many others permission to do the same. With all you have to deal with, you're still helping others. Thank you. Here's to those in positions of power making the right and compassionate decisions going forward. I so hope you get the treatments you need, Megan. Would a letter writing campaign help? I bet all of us who benefit from you sharing your journey would do so. I hope that your pain eases, Megan and that you get good news about the best treatment course.

Good luck to you Megan. I hope you find a treatment that works for you or can get into clinical trial. Sorry to hear about progression cancer sucks. Life is rough with cancer. You’re right just have to keep moving forward and a new day helps with new mindset. It’s just my pain never gets much better- meds help but there’s so many meds I have to be on that cause other side effects. I never forget about cancer either it seems impossible. Not to be depressing but I inquired about death with dignity as an eventual option for me as I don’t want to be on cancer treatments forever and I deal with a lot of debilitating pain. Treatment I’m on is currently working but I still have to live with pain From cancer and a bile duct stent that I need. I don’t want to deal with all these side effects. I’d rather Rest In Peace. Just my preference honestly. I don’t want to suffer a lot. Doc doesn’t seem to be entertaining this much but I do live in a state in which this is legal so next steps are to have a discussion about “treatment goals.” Maybe I’ll be fired as a patient for requesting this lol. We will see. Thanks for sharing your journey and your positive realistic attitude
