June 2023 SCDRP Monthly Partnership Meeting - Diving Into the Digital Coast

The SCDRP June 2023 Partnership Meeting focuses on how to navigate the Digital Coast, a platform managed by NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management that provides access to coastal data in addition to the tools, training, and information needed to utilize these data. Some of the topics directly relevant to SCDRP include Coastal Storms, Funding and Financing Coastal Resilience, Risk Communication, and Vulnerability Assessments. Currently, there are 82 tools, 172 training programs, and 124 stories from the field provided from a variety of sources, all of which are vetted by NOAA.
Our two speakers, Tashya Allen and Matt Pendleton, will provide us with an overview of the Digital Coast and help inform the Partnership on how we can benefit from this platform.
