We have plants that lived through our first full winter! How about that! Lots of super tiny seedlings that are trying to get established, and hopefully we'll have great growth to update you on in July.
As a renter, the container garden is what we have to work with, and we're making the most of it. In 2024, we're focusing on flowers, especially pollinator friendly plants whenever possible. And apparently with seasons come plants that come and go, so learning more about those and how to pick more local varieties that have a better chance of surviving the winter time.
Overall the Magidome is doing great, holding up really well. If the worst that we need to do is re-cover it, that's ok. I bought a massive roll of plastic last year expecting to have to do it at least annually, if not more often.
💡 I now have my own collection of Garden and House Flags and Outdoor UV/Water Resistant Pillows designed by me!

🌞 My garden set up includes:
The official Earth Box store has a lot of color combinations, so it's worth going direct. I would suggest getting the casters, totally worth it and SO helpful. Also where you can get the automatic watering system made officially for their system. *

💧 Rain Bird: I started with their 40 piece patio watering set up and went from there. This is a good support system I found on Amazon though:

Such a learning curve to change gardening zones, but you are finding ways that work to build your garden. The perennial tower is a great idea. We got reflective, metallic 2" wide tape that keeps most birds from our berries (used aluminum pie plates or take out containers work too). ~ Sandra

Oh wow that is so smart, I need to try that. Thankfully I've not had too many issues with the raspberries, just our strawberries so far. I hope your garden is doing well this summer!
