Currently, short term rentals do not cap the number of guests to conform with the number of bedrooms approved on the septic permit. You're essentially allowing gross pollution of groundwater. Other jurisdictions such as Asheville cap the number of guests to align with septic permits. Plz cap the number of guests that STRs can accommodate so the groundwater isn't contaminated by the excessive packing of STRs.
