I loved Pet so much! I have Bitter on my shelves just waiting to be read, same with Spellhacker, but your review has definitely pushed it a little closer to the top of my TBR!

It’s the ASL sign for pride! It was designed by a deaf artist, Randy Pituk (founder of Inka’s Printing), and it was printed in a limited run, I don’t think it’s available right now.

I also just recently read Pet! I enjoyed the book a lot, but I will say reading it stirred up some triggering memories and emotions so thank you for adding that warning. I'm currently reading Children of Blood and Bone. Definitely a shift from the content in Pet, but very enjoyable.

The Seafarers kiss and Boys Come First sound interesting! I just finished The Loophole and enjoyed it - have you read that one? Have a great day!
