I'm strictly a long-form video type of girl...I experimented with making reels in the past but it's not just for me and I've come to terms with it. My vote is to keep your energy on making bomb long-form videos instead of splitting your energy for something you're not super excited to do (at least that was the vibe I got).

Yay monthly reset! So excited for the new notion template you're working on too. I'm on team long-form content! I will 100% support any short-form content as well of course. A healthy amount of short form is great so long as it doesn't lead to burnout.

Also to answer ur question: personally I don’t like short form content and it kind of bothers me when it’s uploaded to KZbin lol. I’m here for the long form!! And honestly if you don’t feel inspired or comfortable making short form, why don’t you just like… not? Lol. Like no need to put that pressure on yourself! I know everyone talks up short form but you thrive with long form and it’s clearly working for you!! I think your time is better spent on long form. Obviously totally up to you but just wanted to give my two cents ❤

I am a long form content fan! I adore your videos and your ability to stay authentic to you. I find that short form content enables endless scrolling and winds up leading to less meaningful content. I’m a long form content kinda person! I don’t watch the shorts from people I’m subscribed to, but that’s because I watch KZbin on my TV most of the time. So I would rather put a 20min video on. This is my first monthly reset video of yours and I like it! 💖

To be honest.. I usually just watch short videos on IG and a little bit on TikTok.. but I mostly prefer longer videos on KZbin, it gives the creator more time to tell a story without the pressure of trying to fit as much content in a shorter version. Plus I love KZbin vlogs 😅

I personally love long form, I know short form is all the rage right now and apparently isn’t going anywhere, I think people still want to be where they can tune in for longer than 60 seconds. It’s a more reliable investment in someone and their brand, and not a quick dopamine hit. It’s comforting to tune into your favorite KZbinr, a lot of times short form makes me anxious after scrolling too long. Love your videos, love your personality, and always rooting for you!

making goals that are time bound and specific will help you to achieve them... for example instead of saying read one book ...you can be more specific and give yourself a time line...like...read 2 chapters by June 15th ... SMART goals are not always easy to create..but they are helpful.

I watch shorts if they catch my interest and have discovered new people to follow that way. If you're interested in using them for that, maybe you could do shorts that reuse things filmed for your vlogs (like "come to dance class with me" or "check out this Vegas hotel I'm staying in"...)

I'm not an overall fan of KZbin Shorts. To me, short form content is for social media like instagram and tiktok. However, for the creators who are NOT KZbinrs, it makes a lot of sense for them to just add the content over to yt shorts as well.

I personally have a love hate relationship with short form videos, I love editing them I think they are super fun to edit and I can crank out a ton in a short amount of time but idk I just don't always have as many ideas for short form content because they are so, well, short. I have tried to post on TikTok and Instagram but I've just found that it is easier to put my short form videos on my KZbin channel, maybe in the future when I get a bigger following I'll adverture out into more Instagram and TikTok, probably Instagram though since that is the media I consume most aside from KZbin lol
