@@meloneycrews No worries, you're definitely not being nosy I'm happy to share! I top out at around 2,000 colonies in Spring and try to keep as many alive as possible. My wife will help me on the weekends if I fall behind but usually I manage all the colonies by myself. I have to work everyday and I still fall behind from time to time. It's a lot of work but I love running a bee business more than anything in the world so it's not always work. I was lucky enough to hire someone to help raise Queen cells this Spring and for honey extraction which was wonderful. If California goes well I am hoping to be able to hire some full-time help next year but we will see how things go.

We only have about 100 and it’s all these 2 old folks can handle😉I’ll be praying almonds goes well and you can get you some help!! We are about 100 miles east of Madison right on the FL/GA state line in the Okefenokee swamp! So it’s really nice for us to have someone like you that has about the same weather as we do. We truly appreciate all you do to share your knowledge!!
