My tier ranking for Bonds: 1. Gyrphon/Nox (don’t make me pick) 3. Gabe 4. North 5. Atlas My favorite of the month was definitely the Legacy of the Nine Realms series. And the Fae Isles series. I’m so happy was I was able to complete that one. I really loved it. And the magic expanded in book 3 and it was really cool. 🌈

I love the bonds that tie series! Agreed the writing is not anything special but the story was super fun. The last book was a little anticlimactic for me, but the series as a whole was a fun time. Kinda wild they same author wrote the crowns of oaths and curses, it’s like the writing matured overnight 😂 Tier ranking of men (this was way harder than I thought lol). 2 and 3 could probably be interchanged on any given day 1. Nox 2. North 3. Gryphon 4. Atlas 5. Gabe

My best books of June were a three-way tie: This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtad and Max Gladstone Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo How to Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair I was on team Litfic, so not a lot of fantasy last month, but I'm looking forward to reading Sunbringer soon after the wild ride that was Godkiller!

Funnily enough I ranked the men each book on my goodreads and it’s so funny to see how much my ranking changed over the course of the books. I definitely think they went on too long as well though, at some points I was zoning out of the plot and just wanted to see the romance. My final tier ranking from first to last was: Nox, North, Gryphon, Atlas, Gabe. Sorry to the sweet boys but gimme the dark ones 😂♥️🌈

🌈I’m so glad you loved TBTT it’s one of my fav series!! My tier ranking is North, Gryphon, Knox, Gabe and Atlas but truthfully North, Gryphon and Knox all tie for first place. If you liked this I would highly recommend adding her other RH series Hannaford Prep as a future Smut den read it’s that watt pad amazingness too but with crime lords and a girl whose basically like an Assasin’s and one of the most notorious leaders of the underworld and her trying to survive and break out of this crime life into a semi normal life the characters are honestly great!!

I keep forgetting that I want to read the Broken Bonds series, so thank you for the reminder. one of, or I guess two of my favourites in June were the first two books in the Dragons of Ember Hollow series. it's why-choose, dragon shifters, and fated-mate and is there anything better than that out there? yes, of course. but also no, no there is not.

Hey gorgeous, since Warbreaker is one of my all time fave books and I love the colour magic, the court of blood and bindings sounds like something I could try since I also love friends to lovers. I have a question, is there lots of smut? (cause I’m not a big fan of it) Also have u read other fantasy romance books that are akin to Warbreaker?

My best book of the month was The Body by Stephen King. More historical, coming of age fiction, not horror, even though there were a couple gross moments. 5 stars from me! The movie Stand by Me is based on this book. 🌈

My best read of the month is easily The Mask of Mirrors by M.A. Carrick 💖As it currently stands, it is in my top 2 reads of the year so far (it shares first place with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes). I was blown away with just how many tropes I love are packed into this story and how much I love each and every one of the characters. So, as a very character driven reader, I am also thriving in my reading, yay! 🥰 That being said, similar to you, I also _just_ read one of two of my least favorite reads of the year so far - Chain-Gang All Stars 🥲 I picked it up because the premise is very intriguing, people have been praising it left and right & it's a July selection for one of the r/fantasy readalongs which I need for my bingo board. Alas, I disliked pretty much everything about the book, with the exception of the main audiobook narrator, which was great.
