I visited Juneau in July 2012 and fell in love with the beauty of the nature. The Princess cruise trip was a memorable experience in discovering Alaska. I advise it to everybody who likes to travel to off the beaten tracks.

I was just there two weeks ago. I was on a 2 week cruise on the Zaandam. The trip to the top was the highlite of my day. Our ship looked so small in the harbour.

That cable car reminds me the cable car built to reach the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro. But apparently, the one featured in this video seems to have a much steeper line.

I used to live here. And as pretty as it is, it's very wet. And that means that although the temps aren't that cold, they penetrate to the bone. I personally prefer living in Anchorage. Not quite as pretty and technically colder, but much more pleasant.

Mendenhall Glacier at this time of March 2015 is completely fozen. Shallow water no movement. Wonderful views. Great experience of mother nature.
