It's so true and I absolutely loved what he said but it could go either way; it can make you content or even more miserable. But is he saying it's a viscious circle? We will never be absolutely happy. That's a scary but very true (especially as you get older) realization.

I watched this movie and it is just a very intriguing performance through out the whole movie, but although this film is nothing like titanic, you can't compare the two because they specifically said in several films, that they didn't want to produce another movie similar to titanic. Before I watched this movie I kept getting the same statement that this is similar to a love story when it really isn't. Me personally think u would like the movie if u liked titanic cuz I did.

I din't like the movie, although I am one of the biggest Titanic affected people ever! I like them both and he seems smart and calm, I've been thinking about happyness for a long time now although I am in my early 20s and I've came to realize a couple of years ago that as much as we should reach for better there will never be an ulitmate moment of happyness if certain conditions are met (if I had money, if I had Brad Pitt), it is about appreciating what you have, but then the task is to do it.

not the best movie ever; especially as reunion to these two; but on the other hand- and I must say I havent read the book- as far as a 50s movie it is good. so I feel mixed about this. I am happy that they reunited in a different movie; and not some weird detective or supernatural movie. one things sure to me again- Kate can take on any role. leo has done a few roles that remind me of this. I would love to see him in a movie as a streetwalker; homeless; gay; something completely different. or even a movie where hes the main role-sort of solo..... like Tom Hanks in Castaway. anyways.... thats it for now

i think it is a good film but definitely not one i'd watch again. it's like 'schlinder's list'-you can't deny its brilliance but you're not going to repeatedly torture yourself. i also don't agree that they had to find something different than 'titanic'. julia roberts and richard understood what worked about 'pretty woman' and did it again with garry marshall. leo and kate had to know this was a film 'titanic' fans wouldn't want to see.

I do agree, but Leo did play a boy with mental issues in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He was amazing in that movie and his character was completely different then most of his other roles.
