I have a 2014 FJ here in rhe east coast, rhe last year they made it in the US, manual transmission, simply the best, since i was a little kid i grew up with toyota in my family, my father may rest in peace had a 1983 Fj40 brand new i remember, that was the strongest 4x4 I've ever seen, despite the envy and criticism from other brands, toyota is the best brand worldwide.

Toyota has forsaken Canada... No FJ Cruiser, anymore.. No Land Cruiser 200 Series.. No Land Cruiser 300 Series.... However, we do have the 4Runner, which shares a chassis with the LC Prado and Lexus GX, and is built in Japan!... I think the FJ uses the similar platform too.. In fact, i think that is the 4Runner 4.0L.. Here in North America this engine has won the 4Runner "most reliable SUV" award for the past 5 years in a row! Beautiful rig!

I had ArB locker installed on the front of mine. The stock front pumpkin isn't very strong so you need to be careful. Nitro gear makes a gear set up if you're running larger tires.

Also, Cummins makes a 4 Cyl diesel that is perfect for that rig.

The hilux diesel motor as near as I can tell is plug n play with no modifications, like Toyota intended to offer a diesel version of the FJ.

Well they have not changed the look of the front or the back of the car yet and they also gave the FJ cruiser the same amount of HP. I would have Like to see a Spacious four door version of this with both 260 HP and a Turbo taking the 260 up to about 360 HP and have both engines come with a automatic and a ''6''Speed Manual Transmission.

@@JuneDeverte Обе машины стоят на открытом воздухе, до моря минимум 500 км. Но одна (Avalon) используется весной-летом-осенью, вторая только зимой (FJ). Первая не ржавеет, хотя была сделана специально для арабского рынка (сухой жаркий климат), а FJ, несмотря, что он делался для рынка США, ржавеет очень сильно. Причем не только внизу, но и в моторном отсеке.
