JUNEYAO AIR 787 Business Class 吉祥航空商务舱 · China's Most Beautiful Dreamliner

Today I’m taking you on board China’s most aesthetically appealing Dreamliner - Juneyao Air’s 787-9. Juenyao’s fleet of six Dreamliners is each painted in a special livery representing Chinese culture. My 90 minutes flight from Guangzhou to Shanghai was operated by the “Chinese Peony” themed 787, featuring a fully flat business seat.
While meal service has returned to most airlines in China, no hot meal is available on any Juneyao flight for now as the airline continues to use COVID as an excuse.
After all, Juneyao is not going to disappoint when keeping in mind its regional carrier identity. Service-wise, Juneyao is definitely a step above the assembly line style state-owned carriers, and coupled with its consistently low airfare, Juneyao is certainly a reliable choice when traveling domestically in China.

Having a Vintage XL lie-flat on a 90 min domestic short haul is a treat! This is in stark contrast to business domestic flights in America and Europe, which can best be described as economy plus and economy with COVID blocked middle seats.

I still don't get why Juneyao is just a "Connecting Partner" while Shenzhen and Air China are full fat Star Alliance Members. Can someone explain? Juneyao BC is just as good as SAS and Turkish and like a hundred times better than what Air China, Egyptair, and Lufthansa put in their BC. They deserve more to be in *A than CA, just saying.
