안녕하세요, 일단 간단정리 및 맘에드는 표현들 ^^ 1. (don't) feel comfortable ~ing < ~하기 편하지 않다(불편하다) > 2. have a lot of resistance to ( something) < 많은 저항성을 가지고 있다) ~안 맞다 , ~ 거부감이 있다> * 거부감이란 단어는 한국어에서는 좀더 강한 부정의 뉘앙스로 느껴지지만 직역 저항성과 잘 어울리는것 같아요 표현: 1. old school < 구시대적이다 > 2. be behind the times < 시대에 뒤쳐져있다 >, get with the times < 시대에 좀 따라가 > 3. It's not my thing < 내 취향 아니다 (~의 취향이 아니다-주로 부정문) > * 사람한테는 type 이니까 어떤 물건이나 상황에 대한? 4. I'm not against it < ~안 좋게 생각하는건 아니다, ~ 반대하는건 아니다 > 구동사: 1. be into something < ~에 관심있다( be interested in ), ~ 빠져있다 등 > 2. look into < (속으로, 관심을 가지고,빠져서 보다),~ 알아보다 ,살펴보다 ,조사하다 등 > just 예문 1. The confucianism is old school and behind the times. I think that stocks are not my thing. I think It's just that I was having a hard time getting a grip of how stocks work and how to invest in stocks. I'm not against it or anything for sure, and I know if I were to get into investing a little more aggressively, I'd definitely look into learning more about stocks. But I still don't feel comfortable with it, and I think i have a resistance to things like that. So, instead, I've been buying and selling US dollars that i can actually see or touch. I think it's a slower investment but it's certainly a lot safer than most.

I guess my husband has a unhealthy gut. When he has some big meal like crab or beef, he has a stomachache almost all the time. I think he has a lot of resistance to things like these. B : I've heard that a lot of times but I definitely don't feel comfortable with the idea of following and doing something that I'm not into just because many people do. But don't get me wrong I'm not against playing golf, like I said, I'm just not into it and I think it's certainly not my thing, and maybe it's just that I have a lot of resistance to jumping on the bandwagon.
