Having been a fan of Jung Somin for the last 10yrs and watching almost all of her dramas and movies and promotional activities, i can say one thing for sure and that is i havent seen such PR stunts with any of her previous costars. If she is friends with someone it becomes pretty obvious like with Kang Ha Neul and Seo In Guk, you can see she doesnt flirt with them just pure laughter and fun. This time with Jung Hae In is completely different especially liking the instagram posts, she usually doesnt do that. I might be wrong but this time it feels different. If it was all a marketing or PR act then it was all too extreme and below such accredited actors level.

There’s friends and then there’s besties, you can’t measure one friendship against the other because each of those male co stars have different personalities and dynamics with her. Clearly closeness with Haein differs but that doesn’t mean automatically it’s a romantic thing for her and ticks all her relationship boxes.

I've noticed that this channel has consistently presented LND negatively ever since it began. It's unclear to me whether this channel has personal resentment towards LND or its cast. This drama is really dear to my heart, and I personally adore it. Although I haven't watched any K-dramas since 2020, I still make an effort to watch dramas that have the power to touch me, but I never watch romance dramas. Then LND arrived; for me, this drama was ideal in every way. I'm not sure why some people thought their romance was so cliche, but it reminds me of love from the 1990s. I'll always support this drama and its cast.❤

@@eumixq7361 Can’t blame them too much, this year was though. we had QOT couple and LR who have had the most successful year. BWS, KSH and KJW each gained over 6 million IG followers and lots of endorsements after their drama, so they needed to leave no stone unturned to also gain some publicity and it’s working but still not up to the others, and it’s unfortunate that they will not be winning any couple awards if the other drama cast are the nominees.

god forbid actors to genuinely enjoy working with each other and have a good working relationship, their interactions made lnd era more enjoyable for me and I thank both of them for that everyday. knowing jsm for years she doesn't really enjoy the limelight, she does acting because she genuinely loves acting. she's introverted but she's good with people which make them comfortable around her.

I love 'Love Next Door'. And I really love their chemistry. Jung Jung couple just nailed it. The whole cast is awesome. The story was also good. Why are you spreading fake news? I followed Jung So Min for a very long time. She is a genuine person. She isn't fake at all. If they have something special, let them be. Give them some space. I'm so happy for them. They both have so much similarities also in real life. So they really are a perfect match. Don't add any third person. who was his best friend's gf. 😅

maybe they just get along well together. even if it is PR, it's not a red flag. this is their job to promote what they worked so hard for and honestly I think they don't even need to do that. even without PR, people will ship on screen couples anyways.

personally, i really liked the drama and particularly appreciated the depth of the different types of relationships, between lovers, between parents & children, between mom’s friends… although some romantic moments could’ve been emphasised more, overall i really enjoyed the drama

stop spreading nonsense 🙄 1st show is very loved by korena fans as well global fans thats why it was even in netflix top10 for 15 week both actor r topping their respective charts 😂 2nd show is loved both the ml were loved by fans globally thats why they r still in talk last about pr i dont know about haein but i m following somin from a long time she don't gaf about sm hype she is really a private person who just always have a good bond with her co star 😂 the about pr for promotion i think then LR and qot couple used same thing for their respective show lol

Please leave QOT and LR out of this mess, they didn’t go as far as traveling to Bali together with their parents for photoshoot neither did they post various selfies on IG, yet those dramas are way bigger than LND. So talk about LND and leave them out of this mess.

No entiendo como pueden atacar a love next door. Yo he visto muchos dramas coreanos y algunos son fatales y no he escuchado nada negativo. El problema con ellos es porque el drama ha llenado un vacio grande que habia , es un drama tranquilo, dulce , encantador, sin morbo. Sus dialogos son hermosos, ademas. Las críticas son sin sentido. El 90 porciento de los dramas tienen muchas partes parecidas. Y no veo que se quejen. Adenas esperaban que So-min hiciera una escena caliente. Y ella ya es una actriz reconocida no necesita hacer eso. Por ejemplo Julia Robert ya no hace escenas de beso. Para todos la quimica solo es atraccion fatal y no es asi. Tener quimica es completarse, sentirse bien juntos, disfrutar ratos comunes y corrientes y no aburrirse. Son actores excelentes . Ame el drama y amo a los protagonistas. Y si es fan service. Bien por ellos porque saben lo que nos gusta . No se debe ser ingenuo de que todo es verdad. Aunque mi deseo es que ellos esten juntos es su vida. Cada quien hace su trabajo. Admiro a So-min y lo hare siempre y a Haien ahora.

* based on my opinion that no one asked for but i have to let this out after observing 😮‍💨 This might sound totally biased but ever since Lovely Runner came out, all the dramas that followed like Love next door, Family by choice, the actors seem to exaggerate these PR stunts. For example, for me i watched the Lovely Runner drama and BTS(plus interviews) and its really evident that the cast had strong chemistry together and the main leads had really god tier chemistry that caused many people to speculate that they were dating, and this contributed to the popularity of their drama (not to overshadow their acting because it was also god tier) and there is a kind of sincere vibe when they interact. Then came these dramas after, which you can see in interviews and livestreams that they’re exaggerating their skinship outside of the drama and forcing some kind of chemistry which is kind of cringey and not sincere. I think the industry has caught on about how making their leads look like they’re tgt irl can boost their popularity, but it seems kinda cringe and insincere now because it obviously gives of PR stunt vibes compared to the actors with sincere skinship interactions.

@@starlight14673 i agree with your last sentence too,,.In addition, i felt that the reason why lovely runner felt more natural and sincere is that i observed that the actors set boundaries for each other and also their skinship felt natural as both of them had outgoing personalities, or at least they felt comfortable with each other so the chemistry didn’t feel forced. So far both leads had only afew leading roles and not that exposed to main couple roles so i don’t think they’d be scheming enough to deliberately churn out PR stunts, and also their drama(along with QOT) was quite the epitome of “their chemistry is so good that they must be dating” so I guess other drama couples are trying to hop onto the bandwagon of this strategy, but ig as you said it totally works, however sometimes it just comes off as superficial and hard to watch. ( no offense intended just stating my observations )

@@rinsotbapQOT and LR didn’t need all this promo trip to become the most watched and popular dramas of this year. QOT leads are double digits ratings cast so I’m not surprised they got so much buzz, plus their storyline was better. BWS, KSH and KJW have had the most successful year, so many endorsements and popularity awards and the list keeps going.

I saw the drama and it was cringe like the story line changed,and the actress role was always hitting him and I thought to myself that’s not okay that’s abuse and I wouldn’t be surprised if they date since she already had dated one of her co-stars and if they are doing this for PR then they will end up losing individuality and respect time will tell 😊

If they did all these for promo then I truly feel sorry for their future partners because they went too far, especially JHI, he’s been fueling the ship and doing things to make it seem like he’s dating her, I feel for all the shippers because if they don’t get dating confirmation, their next romantic projects will tank.

The bed scene after their being intimate was one of the cringiest things I’ve seen in awhile. They were adults in their 30’s who’d already had past relationships yet the director treated them like teenagers. It was an embarrassing mishandling of their characters and their natural chemistry. Ruined it for me tbh.

Jung So Min was very physically abusive in the drama towards Jung Hae In. Always hitting him for no reasons. Just like her mom in this drama. Incredible how this show got away with women hitting men in almost every single episode. Even my wife felt bad about the male characters of this show.
