I understand your passion, but what do you think about the amount of money he's getting and his irresponsible interviews? I also hope he does well, but his extremely disappointing sabermetrics make it hard. Why are you so patient with him? Luis Matos, Casey Schmitt, David Villar, LaMonte Wade Jr., and others were told to leave after just a slight dip in performance, yet everyone turns into an angel of mercy when it comes to Lee Jung-hoo.

Terrible that his season was cut short, and (not for the first time) the home field dysfunctions came into play (Mac Williamson, anyone?). He also wasn't very good, but neither were they, but there's always 2025! I love the hustle and the determination, and there's definitely a skill set ready to make an impact to the tune of .270 with good defense. That's enough to help them if he stays healthy.

I only see Jung Hoo Lee as being an above average player, but not a star player. He is average defensively and mostly hits singles. But if he can steal a lot of bases at least he'll still have good value. He could surprise us and hit 20 HRs if he improves his power though

I really hope that happens. Honestly, I would love for him to become a superstar, not just an average player, but it might be difficult. You seem to have the clearest analysis. His shoulder injury could lead to strain on his right hip due to compensatory action. For the 2025 season, I think it would be a success if he doesn’t push too hard and just shows the ability to play a full season (of course, good performance would be great too).
