Why doesn't the army support Jhope? He is so talented and competent. The documentary and the album are wonderful. I have the impression that there is no real army and that there are only solo fans. The difference in sales, views and awards is absurd. The army should support everyone in BTS because there is still a lot of prejudice against kpop and many people outside of kpop are prejudiced and don't even give them the chance to get to know their work. Therefore, the army must always support everyone. We live in an unfair world: those who work hard and are competent do not always receive recognition.

Jhope is doing well with his album but low numbers is not surprising. Unfortunately, the hyung line never get the same support as the Maknae line, who are more popular. That's just the way it's always been and Hobis music is primarily rap and not everyone is going to be into that, fans do have their own different tastes & preferences just like the members themselves have each shown during this solo era. But Hobi has worked very hard to leave content for Army to enjoy, showing his true passion for dance also, he deserves every success. Ppl need to stop the protests and boycotts and enjoy the music and everything that is to come in the following months from each of the members who have prepared a lot well in advanced so their works should be appreciated and supported. Watching J-hope’s documentary and how sad he seems at times I really hope this time in the military gives all the members time to rest and rejuvenate and gives them some normality of life. J hope's new music is awesome and I listen to it all the time. I appreciate all his hard work and talent. Several American artists released their albums the same day and there were major promotions for them. I heard his new music mentioned a few times and then articles or news would shift to what another member is doing. Although sales are not as high as one would expect, he will be back with us in a few months and then he can have a redo like he did for Jack in the Box. In the meantime, I appreciate and thank him and will continue to enjoy his thoughtful, happy music. It makes me (and so many others) get up, dance and feel happy. After all, isn't that what it is all about? Enjoy and keep streaming.....

Promotion helps a lot and limited Promotion can and will limit sales. Sure a few might be due the protest, but if so its a very small percentage. I know I personally just can't pick up the album right now, the funds aren't there. I had to put off picking up Vs album too. It is a lot of stuff they have put out in the past couple of years. I'm glad they are working on their solo stuff, just too much for me to keep up with and Im sure Im not alone in this especially with there being a holiday right as the album dropped as well. I don't really have friends nowadays, but back in high school and college I always had a large group of friends. And we all had are little sub groups of people we were closer to than the others and then generally we had our best friend. This was completely normal dynamics of friend groups. :)

Transparecy was there, regarding what JH was doing, the songs were fitting, to go along with the Doco, JH writes and produces his work, the way he wants to do it and what is exeptional, he helps write and produce his work. Rap has done exeptionally well in Korea and is a WW genre that many, m asny love, take JayZ Eminem, Dr Dre, Kanye West, 50 cent, lil Wayne + so many more, i believe, its not JHs music thats the problem, i think theres alot of factors in play Suga is Rap, but sells well, i couldnt say he was better than JH, but he is more popular than him.
