Keep in mind that the majority of ARMY is over 25 (I'm 43) and have listened to a multitude of genres over the years. I LIKED Central Cees verse... the only other artist I've listened to that to me, has a similar flow and accent is Stormzy, whom I love. I also didn't have an issue with Harlow's verse on 3D... people seem to have lost the ability to differentiate between artistic parabole and reality and they miss old school movie/music references... so quick to be offended and willing to misconstrue everything.

lost the ability? Harlow's verses were plain awful. Jungkook set such a good vibe with the song 3D with sex-positive lyrics. Then Harlow brought creepiness, sugar daddyness and desperation in his lyrics. harlow messed the whole vibe of the song.

I liked Central Cee's verse. It is actually really different for him. Jungkook's style is amazing. Still waiting for him to rap again. I'm 55 and love rap. I think some people just take some of the lyrics too seriously. And the way this song breaks down at the end, LOVE. Music is all about evolution. 😘💜🫰🏻

I don’t mind the direction Jung Kook is taking. He never shied away from going against what was expected of him. These western style songs are more about exploring and challenging himself then they are expressing his mind set. He also loves western songs and western songs get really sexual at times. It is apart of the style of music I think, and personally, I laughed my ass off after hearing Seven and the woman’s part in the video was perfect for the storyline. 😂 💜

Yes, Seven and 3D!!! Lesgooo. I also love Central Cee. Please do Sprinter, Pinging, Loading, Right Back To It or Let Her Go. :) I love all of Jungkook s releases, like he said, he's 26, sex and love are natural topics. Some ppl had a tough time because they cling to the cute sweet maknae image. Some ppl just don't want songs about love or s3x. Jungkook is still sweetest , funniest, but also sexy and intense performer. Don't put BTS in boxes, they are 3D humans. 😉 Ppl were singing Jack Harlow s verse bar for bar at Jungkook s Time Square pop up concert, 3D is fireeee. I loved Latto on Seven because her rap voice is gorgeous and she was so cheeky.😜 Edit I loved Too Much

Thanks for your excellent reaction and comments. BP I especially liked your explanation about rap and how it is heavily influenced by the environment and culture around it that the artist actually experienced. The way you explained it finally made sense to me. I am one who thought 3D could of been done with a bit more respect in the rap to women period. Im a senior ARMY and it reminded me of Vietnam Era and the disrespect to the so called mail order brides. And how women were to "serve" their male counterparts! I've really enjoyed you guys collab!💜

I love his accent and his cadence and flow. PS. JK is the oldest of them 3 and Laroi is aboriginal Australian ^^

The Kid Laroi did actually a demo tape back in 2020 called Too Much kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5-leH6cgralaLM I think it was a beat he was working on with or was given to him by Juice Wrld. He (laroi) was on the plane when he (Juice) died btw.

JK is in the same category of MJ! He is so talented and gifted and when he performs he is extraordinary! I don't really know how to explain when I watch him sing and dance how it makes me feel. I grew up with MJ and saw him in concert. When I watch JK, I see pieces of MJ. I feel JK had to do this, to break the cute baby, he is now an adult now, and wants us to see him as an adult.

I didn't know Central cee until this collab, but i definitely liked his verse, both lyrical and flow. Me, personally, preferred this collab compared to 3D in terms of vibe and lyrics. But i know to separate what it's about personal taste and not about the quality of the artist or something like that. Both songs made a success and they made a good job on it We have something similar in Brazil with the "funk". They use this "aggressive" or more "explicit" way to talk about their reality. A reality that lot of times it's really hard to experience and they bring this hardness in this aggressive/explicit lyrics.

Hi Anthony, I love your reactions and am making my way through the bts playlist here on KZbin. This is the most recent I've seen so I hope you see this comment. I'd be really interested in joining your Patreon but, is there any way you can make playlists by group, or separate bts out? The big windows for everything, much less having all those bands and stuff mixed up make it really hard to navigate. I don't want to scroll and scroll if I wanted to watch something. I only care about BTS, maybe that's selfish of me, but set them into a different playlist and shrink the window size and I'll join. Happy to pay the small fee even though I've seen most of the stuff on my own, because your reactions are great.

Hey, the BTS Reactions are tagged under BTS Music or BTS Interviews for example. There are also tags for the individual members. So filtering on those works best.

Nice reaction! I really enjoyed the conversation youy observations, and analyzation of the video and the artists. And yes you have some segments of the army fan base for BTS and jungkook who do not like when they collab with any of the western artists. And some of those criticisms are coming from antie BTS out here trying to stir up trouble. ✌️

When I first heard it I didn't like Central Cee in it. After a couple of listens he's growing on me. That twang is just really jarring if your not used to it. Especially coming after JKs smooth vocals

I wasn't a fan of Jack Harlow's verse in 3D.. I found it a bit misogynistic and to me, it just didn't sound like it flowed well. Keeping in mind that I'm not super familiar with rap. HOWEVER, Central Cee on this song... works like magic for me. JK, Kid Laroi and Central Cee's verses all work so well together and it didn't take me out of the song (if that makes sense). I really really like this song. Another commenter mentioned Stormzy, which makes sense. I really like UK grime and this entire combo works!!

As a lover & growing up with hip-hop/rap/RnB in the 90s+, to me it was about the penmanship, of which JH didn't have any in 3D. Let's go sexual all day long, but let's also have a standard that is not lazy nor lowbrow. In the end it's all opinions & if you liked it cool, if you didn't that's fine as well. I would just hope with the caliber that is JungKook (& BTS) there would have been more thoughtfulness behind the bars. *oh & I loved Centeral Cee's part*

Love this track. Central Cee's verse in this is good, I dig him. I'm all for real talk and getting sexual, but Jack Harlow's verse in 3D was just underwhelming. As was Latto's verse in Seven. Just felt uninspired.
