They didn’t translated but in the Run BTS guide, he was saying: “in satoori* YO~ Can you stop asking me to do the guides ehh? I can't do it anymore cause my throat is aching. I cannnot agree with this. What did I say?” And he was imitating yoongi’s dad tone lol. He’s of course joking here but as a reminder, Jungkook has been in charge of recording pretty much all of their guide vocals, background vocals since the beginning. It is a lot of behind the scenes work, and it doesn’t get acknowledged nearly as much as it should (even by him, tbh). Anyway this vlog was so good. His whole aura is just so comforting.

(impression of Oh Il-Nam in Squid Game/it's kinda meme in Korea) basically he was just joking around babbling random things in the intro before the start lol. apparently the boys do that often in the guides. it's their running jokes.

@14:42 The spiral snack he was eating was potato! It's called potato tornado and yes it's fried! They cut the potato and twirl it around the skewer, fry it and usually sprinkle some masalas (spices) or even ketchup and mayo! It's a staple fair/camping/carnival food as it's pretty handy

the white thing is thinly sliced pickled radish. they sell a pack of it and korean people usually wrap meat (pork belly especially) and eat it with kimchi or other side dishes. you can easily get them at any korean store. 쌈무 in korean (ssam moo). thanks for the reaction!

So in Korea, "service areas" are huge rest areas with a cafeteria, street food type vendors, little clothes shops (hats, hiking clothes, sunglasses) and often a gas station, too. The freeways are all toll-roads in Korea, so they have service areas every 20km or so, just to cover all basic needs. They have fun snacky, street foods like the ones JK had, haha :D
