i just... love their bond so much. people think we only see them as a couple but in reality, or at least for me, i just really love their bond, bc of how they behave and let themselves be when they are together. like i know all the members are close and have their own thing with each other, but with jikook i just get extra emotional eveytime they interact or share sometime together. I think my favorite, without a doubt, is dongshin. Because it is such an incredibly personal way to address someone...especially in their case. I will say that Jungkook calling Jimin "aegiya" is not exclusive to Jimin. If you go back and review BV3 where Jungkook is driving and JHope is in the car, he calls JHope "aegiya". That snapped my head. So, while I think he may use it for Jimin, I don't think it's an exclusive statement. Exclusive statements directed to Jimin are Jimin-ah, dongshin-eun and most definitely "Jimin-ssi". HOOOOOOW...EVER, the satoori version of Jimin-ssi is the most endearing..."Jwimin-ssi." Because, even as Jungkook has admitted himself "it gives off a stronger feel". Really JK? A stronger feel...Just say it...it's how you say "I love you" without saying the words, but then again I call them the kings of saying everything while saying nothing at all.

Thank you for the correction but the fact he uses either ‘baby’ or ‘aegiya’ in reference to his hyung is still the same. It’s not an exclusive statement. Unless there is a greater emphasis between the words “aegiya” and baby. There could be. Kind of like it’s more meaningful to call someone one over the other. Sort of like the difference between the regular version of Jimin-ssi and the satoori “jwimin-ssi” which according to JK the satoori has more emphasis. Thank you again for clarifying it for me. yoongi sometimes allows namjoon and hoseok to speak banmal to him on camera and definitely off camera, jungkook also uses banmal with taehyung and jimin but they almost never forget to say hyung, except that only jungkook calls him jiminah and gets away with it which is really interesting, -ssi isn't banmal so it doesn't count, it's somewhat more formal than hyung and is used at the workplace and with strangers before you know their age honestly in jikook case i see it as flirting as they don't have to be formal on camera but since it's still a workplace jungkook decides to make it funny by calling jimin with -ssi, the others use -ssi less often with their hyungs one thing is clear jungkook is regular with hyungs but calls jimin all sorts of names

Its not about why use honorifics on our lover. Dropping honorifics is a disrespectful thing. Even if you have a sister that's only one year older than you or very close with, you still call her "eonni". And not everyone is okay with someone dropping honorifics on them, so Jimin lets Jungkook get away from it is something too.
