But he has to sing higher bc the key of bts songs are higher bc of jin and jimins higher register so jk and v both sing above their registers … but bc of jks stability… he sings higher parts for the most part. He doesn’t thing he can sing songs with any belt parts and that he can only do rhythmic vocals…. But this shows that he’s starting to see that he can do so much more than he even thinks… I’m so proud of him

That's why they really shine when doing solos! Though BTS are amazing as a group, line distribution is holding them back a little, so I'm glad that they are able to show us their individuality with covers and solo releases. You should watch “jungkook king of acapella” by Ida s Has a lot of his raw vocals and really gives a good sample of his crazy range… his stability.. he’s so versatile Have you guys heard “decalcomania?” It’s jungkooks old song he put out like a one minute demo a few years ago but eventually deleted it…. It not a full song but the one minute is absolutely beautiful and similar style for parts…. His live cover of “if you” on their masked singer is absolutely worth the listen… that one is special bc bts was getting hate for not having good vocalist and only rappers were good… so like 16 yr old jk went on masked singer in sk and they were def surprised when he was revealed… he didn’t win…. But he absolutely gave ppl a reason to support all of bts… raps and vocals … it’s a 4 min video if you check it out bc a lot of the posts cut it off halfway for some reason… but it’s a Big Bang cover… def worth a listen

I think the two main reasons that it didn't sound like JK was because he doesn't sing in that much lower register generally so we are not used to that part of his voice. And the other important reason is that BTS mostly switches to Falsettos or Mix voices in upper register in their original songs. But as Harry belted in the higher register in this song so we got to hear that strong Belt from JK in the chorus and the bridge which he absolutely killed with his powerful and strong voice.
