During this Vlive with 20 million people watching in real time he managed to render quite a few vocal coaches utterly speechless - level of his talent is utterly insane. Lets keep in mind he did all of this totally unprepared - sitting there in his winter parka, munching on salad, unrehearsed, without proper voice warm up, he even needed to read lyrics for some of the covers on screen while he was singing them:-) He looks relaxed, just chilling, smiling, confident and smooth as ever, casually singing some covers and being excellent in it. He sang, he rapped, he even harmonized with some of the tracks totally impromptu. A titan of live vocals - there is nothing else to say.

It's Insane & Unbelievable how JK still sounded so good while freezing his as* off as this V-live was during too much harsh Cold of January in SK. The heater wasn't working and after a while A staff member brought him his Jacket but he was still cold. Maybe Bighit/Hybe didn't bother fixing it so shortly before moving to the new building 😂

I think something he said in a vlive makes me understand him and his stile of singing and techniques which I think can be hard to really describe in the grand way that it really is bc just saying he can sing anything doesn’t really even good enough. He talked about needing to sing some English pop songs on live streams bc it would help with his pronunciation. So he’s such an audio learner and it’s how he absorbs all this knowledge and inspiration for his creative and artistic heart and soul to grow from. The reason his style is hard to pin down accurately is bc he really doesn’t just have one lol he has such an eclectic taste in music and he’s an empath…. So he feels the emotional energy of music in ways that not all of us can and it’s not something that can be taught… it’s just a part of him that drives pretty much his entire life. His ability to pick up on subtle emotional vibes in the original artists way help him tap into his own emotions and really portray that in the strongest ways possible… it’s why like everything he does or sings feels like it’s his song and his words coming straight from his own mind. So when he covers these songs or sings them all for fun…. It’s like he sings them as close as he can to the original… which is why he’s just got all these techniques or styles because they’re coming from everywhere and whatever he hears and sings and he’s a perfectionist so he wants to hit every piece of the songs. Once they’re songs he’s comfortable with then you’ll notice even in other peoples songs he randomly starts singing harmony with them and not their exact notes… and he naturally adds ad libs that don’t exist in others songs either bc it’s how his mind is naturally wired to work… he feels the music and goes off that. He does it in a lot of the members songs he sings or when he’s singing their parts on his own livestreams he almost always sings a harmony with them…. Even if it’s a slight harmony… but he also will sing harmony with his own parts if you really listen live and he will sing both low and high harmonies with everyone. It’s truly incredible to pick up on these things and notice over time bc honestly I’m not sure if he even knows he does it or like it’s a choice… or it just happens naturally at this point which is what it sounds like. Bts says jungkook is the member with “perfect pitch,” and anybody who has heard him live can tell that he really does… jungkook is extremely special as an artist bc I’m not sure how you would coach someone to approach music and learning like he has lol it’s crazy but he’s so so passionate… likes to close his eyes and feel every word of every song and he has bc such an exceptional vocalist bc of it… he’s just beginning to come into his own as a vocalist and performer… and I can’t wait to see what the future holds when it comes to jungkook and his artistry 💜

I love how he’s promoting members songs... sharing his love and appreciation for their work and just vibing. He really harmonizes with most of them and I love how just adding another layer to their masterpieces in a way that isn’t taking anything away from their work... just showing it some love.
