Yeah that grubs fight at 8 min ish is why I hate not having frontline supports. It makes engage angles on fights impossible when the only frontline/tank on your team is the split push top lanner.

How long would it take me from low mid silver to high gold as a jungler?

it took me 2 weeks to climb from low gold to high plat when i began watching jungle tutorial videos, also watch Virakyu and PerryJg they are also good.

Learning to jungle, does it make sense trying to avoid giving up your position at lvl 1 and ward the other side in order to spot invasions? Depending on the champ (i.e. if it has high mobility) I do try to invade for a steal, while other times I just have to try and detect or prevent invasions.

typically you have your laners stand near your entrance or ward your raptors to spot invades
