I bet at 1:47, when that creature opened his mouth and showed his chompers, the audience probably jerked back in their seats! Pretty scary stuff for 1930. Thanks for posting this!

Ilove this vintage cartoon it shows how clean cut cartoons were rated g. Or no rating at all because they were morally and ethically correct ✅ so full of value and fun and wonderful content and characters and stories so cute yet so funny so clean cut and great content ❤😂😊

Get over yourself. I'll bet you're *lots* of fun at a party. If the world lasts another eight or nine decades, they'll be laughing at the racist and phobic crap that's currently coming out of Hollyweird.

Racist plots aren’t funny (pathetic and sad) but the synchronisation of sound and image was the point of the cartoon?

it's a good thing I have access to marijuana that makes this all look normal, otherwise there's a boat load of offenses that can be taken by the current crop, ooh boy, if some groups see this, we may have to say good-bye to our precious History Channel here at PeriscopeFilms oh yeah, first in, ''race cartoon'' LOL how do the haters always hit first?

@@mackdaddyg321 Do you actually not comprehend English? Or are you such a fool that you suppose making jokes is better than attempting to understand. Let me spell it out for those whose brains have been reduced to peanut butter by the current intellectual climate. 1. He is stating that he is glad to have marijuana because it helps to maintain his outlook that this is just a silly cartoon, which brings us to... 2. He is stating that the offensive aspects of this cartoon could be misconstrued into something wholly racist as opposed to racially insensitive, which... 3. He states could affect the status of this channel if deemed unacceptable by the enforcing or supporting bodies who do this sort of deeming. 4. He furthers this point by quoting another commenter here, the quoted part being "race cartoon." This cartoon is, first and foremost, a dancing menagerie of oddly proportioned imaginary or embellished creatures. 5. He is asking, rhetorically I believe, how it is that the proponents of new ideologies find themselves here, first to comment on the racial insensitivities as opposed to maybe just enjoying a silly little cartoon. And here is my own point; no humans are depicted in this cartoon, and there are far more offensive "race cartoons" that actually depict things that might draw shame upon the artist, depending on ones views of culpability within the acceptability of the time when drawn.
