Simply gorgeous! Used to travel this route in the famous Alleppey-TATA express back in the 1990s. Single track and Diesel engine from Vizag! Lush green forests and farm lands of Orissa and Alleppey-TATA used to stop in almost every station 😁, getting down and having a cup of tea is a priceless experience and serves as memories for life. Still remember all these station names! Thanks for the wonderful video!

A beautiful video along a route remarkably free of the trackside litter and trash that plagues so much of IR trackage. Sadly, though a number of the stations were very littered and, even more sadly, I saw trash being thrown from this train. All that said, the scenery was beautiful and, it seemed to me, the loco pilot had the "pedal to the metal" for most of the trip!!

Have spent my school days in Sambalpur. In those days,I say Tata-Madras Express pass by Sambalpur at around 8pm. The whole of western Orissa was 10 times more beautiful then it is today because of rapid unplanned construction. The best and the most beautiful part of Orissa is Koraput district. A stretch from Titlagarh to Vijayanagam in Andhra. Western Orissa and now Jharkhand (Chota Nagpur Table lands ) are basically the same.

man...the whole landscape changed drastically in 12-13 years...it used to b semaphore signals in Titlagarh till sambalpur/raipur and towards raygada I forgot the exact station( even double line starts from that station)..token exchanges... Titlagarh- raygada stretch seems much like some tropical island(denser than now) earlier..whenever travelled through that stretch there was spell of rain... pineapples nd terrace farming...good to see that region developing

Brilliantly captured,- - - - the joy of this journey. So much patience, dedication on your part . Train journeys, once meant a lot to me , when the compartments were not so cramped. Now it's best enjoyed watching your videos. I have never travelled to the east, Orissa and Assam. So I discovered the beauty of these places through your video. New trains, new names. What held me spell bound is when the train changes tracks at supersonic speeds All those carriages, how do they stay on course.? Frightening, as I observed the silvery tracks join other tracks with unbelievable swiftness. Only the thundering switch of the rhythm of the train , and the blurred countryside flashing past, conveyed some idea of its hurtling speed. Thank you for this enjoyable trip.

I'm going to take advantage of being one of the first comments to thank you for these videos. Currently I'm in bed recovering for a surgery (long time recovery unfortunately) and watching this videos in my house is very comforting. I almost can feel the wind, the freshness of that lush vegetation and the movement of the train. Travel to India, is now one the things I have to do in my life and of course, ride those trains. Эд Красный if u r planning to come i will suggest come to mumbai and take a train journey to goa and Kerala via konkan Railway..u will be mesmerised by western ghats...since train has to travel through these mountains and u will encounter many tunnels...also visit in the month of august when the monsoons are retreating and its not the strongest...india turns green during monsoons...INDIA IS BEAUTIFUL
