Season 7/8 had a different final puzzle where you need to make a bridge to the Golden Monkey without stepping into the sand (If you stepped into the sand, that covers it up).

the golden monkey is only open if they cross without stepping on the sand. It takes quite a while sometimes so thats why they left a bit early.

Kathryn got ALL 4 STATUES from The Maze and didn't even have to go past The Monkey Arms!

@@Danielblixareed Sometimes they even have The Ruby Statue in a basket at The Dark Swamp/Angel Falls & I feel it brings more excitement rather than just constantly finding it in A Lock-In Game all the time

Up until The Old Fort Maze it looked like they weren't going to have much time in The Temple but then they managed to swing it back in their favour
