Unfortunately nowadays in music many people (especially in ESC and JESC but not only) pay more attention to the scenic design and all the show around, than to the music itself. There were some artists here who just stood on the stage singing and maybe playing (which should be the most normal thing for musicians) and were really talented, but ended up in low positions because of the poor appearance, because people judged them for things that have nothing to do with music. The Albanian girl and the Macedonian girl both did an outstanding performance, and should have reached the top 3. The two Italian girls also did very well and deserved a high position (here maybe I'm biased because I'm Italian). The girl from Malta was also very talented but the song was terrible, so I can agree with her not being in high positions. Anyway, all of them did a very simple performance, as used to be normal decades ago, and were very good, but reached lower position than countries that made huge shows on the stage but, if we consider the music, were not that amazing (even if I want to say that ALL the artists were talented). Anyway, I agree with France's victory. For the music itself (the song and the singer's ability to sing), not for other reasons.

Idk i don't like Italy, I don't rlly like the song. Macedonia was amazing but stage really gave nothing we needed just something to happen and Albania ngl is good but i just like others more and yes France win was deserved

@@escxgladiatorThat's exactly what I was saying. I don't care for "something happening on the stage", musicians should only be judged by their music. It's nothing bad or poor if they just stand on the stage singing (and playing an instrument if they do), actually it should be just normal. All the show around has nothing to do with music and a musician's activity. Judging just the music (which means the song and singer's ability to sing), I think Albania and Macedonia were really amazing (and the girl from Malta was amazing too but unfortunately the song wasn't). Again, with Italy I may be biased because it's my country, but listening carefully to all the songs I still think the 11th place was really unfair.

​@@4194304Italy was my last too. But it's a show and since 2000's Eurovision song contest is a full package. If you want a good results you need to perform and give a show. The music is really important but if the performance is not here, it will flop and it's fair. Italy just give us a good start with the piano and the bed but then nothing on stage and the outfits are really disappointing....

Malta performance in live was one of best. Top 3 : france spain and armenia was Three best in live. Geemany im dissapointed because of dance.... And im not only for that , She should have sung for all three minutes. The dancing ruined the performance.

Armenia wasn't very good vocally live and Malta is amazing live just song is meh
