Lisbon 2025? I sure hope so! 2. 🇪🇸 Chloe de la Rosa - Como la Lola This song is a perfect fit for JESC - the music video, the instrumental, her energy... I couldn't be happier with this entry! Is Spain ready to host for the second time in a row? 3. 🇦🇲 Leo - Cosmic Friend (NEW!) OMG, OMG, OMG! I knew that Armenia would not disappoint! This song and the music video give me "Spin the Magic" vibes in a good way! It will be so much fun to hear it live in the contest. A new contender for the win, everyone! 4. 🇮🇪 Enya Cox Dempsey - Le Chéile You never cease to amaze me, Ireland! If only this was the opening number. You will raise the roof, and the audience in Madrid and at home will bop so hard to this! I wish that you won't be done dirty for the second time in a row. 5. 🇨🇾 Maria Pissarides - Crystal Waters This song is a summery bop that I can listen to even when it's not summer! Cyprus, you have one job - do this justice with a great staging and you may remain in my top 5! 6. 🇪🇪 Annabelle - Tänavad Estonia, you manage to stay in my top 6 for another year - her voice and the song are incredible! Plus, hearing the meaning behind this song reminds me of the good times in my own childhood. 7. 🇸🇲 Idols SM - Come Noi This song will be iconic in my book for years to come! If only the girls had their own lines in it, then this might be higher in my list. 8. 🇺🇦 Artem Kotenko - Hear Me Now Amazing song, amazing staging, amazing voice. It was my winner at first, but the song kinda started to grow off me, and I am thinking that if Zlata Ivaniv won with her song "Namysto", she would be my winner now. Ukraine is still in it to win it, though! 9. 🇦🇱 Nikol Çabeli - Vallëzoj Them riffs and voice, y'all! I can't help but coming back to this. I am feeling like Albania could pull a Viola Gjyzeli and be a dark horse again. 10. 🇳🇱 Stay Tuned - Music Inkar, Chiara, Niek, & Miucha are literally my inner voice - I cannot do without music in my life! 11. 🇬🇪 Andria Putkaradze - To My Mom How Georgia can almost always be one of the most innovative countries in JESC is beyond me! Anyway, with a beautiful staging that reflects the meaning behind the song, this would pull a Kazakhstan 2019 instantly. 12. 🇫🇷 Titouan - Comme Ci, Comme Ça I love his voice and the meaning behind the song, but there are eleven more songs that I like more. 13. 🇲🇰 Ana & Aleksej - Marathon On one hand, this song gets you motivated and both Ana and Aleksej have great voices, but on the other hand, it gets a bit repetitive. 14. 🇩🇪 Bjarne - Save the Best for Us The choir was a great edition for the revamp, just what this song needed to be elevated. Also, he has such a great voice. 15. 🇮🇹 Simone Grande - Pigiama Party This is a bop, it is true, but I expected something more from Italy, I guess. 16. 🇲🇹 Ramires Sciberras - Stilla Ċkejkna Finally, Malta sends a 100% Maltese song! Another meaningful one in this year's JESC, and an ethereal music video, too. However, he needs to work on his vocals, and his team needs to stage this accordingly. 17. 🇵🇱 Dominik Arim - All Together I will be honest with you (some of you may want to fight me for this), the song sounds so 70s to me. The revamp was not of help either, making it only worse.

I don't agree with you and think you underestimate France too much 🇫🇷. Titouan has a beautiful voice, and although his song is poorer than "Cœur" in terms of lyrics, it remains heady and, like "Cœur", carries a beautiful message of tolerance and acceptance of difference. It's also the kind of song that appeals to the international jury, so in my opinion, France will be in the Top 6 at least. You're overestimating Georgia's 🇬🇪 too much. Although Andria has a very beautiful voice, the song is too soft and boring, and it's clear that in recent years, it's more upbeat songs that have won the contest. You also overestimate the Netherlands 🇳🇱 whose song, although nice, is nothing exceptional and very disappointing compared to "Holding on to you" or "La festa".

You're overestimating the Netherlands 🇳🇱. The song is nice, but it's nothing exceptional either, and will most likely finish between 7th and 10th place. You also overestimate North Macedonia 🇲🇰 who have a nice song but with a rather poor chorus where the word "run" is repeated I don't know how many times... On the other hand, you're greatly underestimating France 🇫🇷 whose representative Titouan has a beautiful voice and a very catchy song with a nice message that will score a lot of points with the international juries, as well as Spain 🇪🇸 who has a heady song that appeals enormously to Eurofans. Spain and France will make at least Top 6.

Since this is the last song I'm bringing back my comments on all of them. Top 17 as of Armenia's release: 1. Ukraine masterpiece with this song/performance combo, especially in light of the context... see his interview in the official diary (he said even with all the war and b*mbings how can he leave home? It's home! Also thinking of all the people who were forced to leave home or lost home because of the war) He's a pro in his delivery, he gives all this power and emotion and he doesn't lose any stability when he's moving. He is so good live that his live almost matches the recording and I mean that as the highest of compliments 💙💛 2. Portugal Chills. Gives me flashbacks to the masterpiece that is Marte, and really stands out. She fully wrote this one herself, and it shows. It feels really sincere - her genuine words and thoughts, not recontextualized or switched up. Hopefully the juries will take into consideration that she wrote her own song, and an absolute masterpiece at that. And am I catching that this alternates between Spanish and Portuguese? Whoa. I know she is a super talented live singer too, and if she nails those whistle notes, she could very well take it home for Portugal. Best Portuguese entry ever. 3. Estonia I love this so much and it feels like Estonia meets NYC nights! The Estonian language is so beautiful, it has a kind of magical feel, like it brings out the magic of the everyday street night. And the lyrics are very empowering for kids’ voices, like a street takeover with art. I think her voice will stand out because she has a cool low range. Please voting public, please give her a good result 🙏 4. Netherlands 💚 There are so many references to past JSF entries and common songs like All We Need is Music, It Doesn't Matter, End of Time, Let's Sing Together, Stars to Shine, even Best Friends with the "unite." And that's absolutely golden! I admit my fondness for JSF makes me partial to this “recent nostalgia, JSF core” song. Amazing energy, Niek really hyped everyone up at JSF and Stay Tuned will be so fun at JESC!!! I can see it sticking in a lot more people's heads and so many people jumping and singing during the live at JESC. 5. Georgia Whoa. Another breathtaking song from Georgia, they aren't afraid to send something a little exploratory, something cinematic that stays true to the Georgian style. Reminds me of JVKE's song Golden Hour but with more dynamic depth and more emotions. Andria could easily command a concert hall! Imagery is so beautiful but a lot is left unsaid - we don't really get a song shrouded in mystery like that super often at JESC. So he is snow and his mom is sun… but why? I am intrigued. Voters, please don't underrate it like you underrated Georgia last year 🙏 6. Armenia Armenia always brings the energy and they just know how to do JESC! Here, unlike with France this year, is a case of sticking to the formula but continuing to deliver on the high standard. Not surprised it's from tokionine with this quality 😊 It's like DANCE but dancing through the galaxy with aliens! Junior fun but balanced with melody and production that all ages can easily enjoy. I can tell Leo is a showman who learned from his parents… and we know how far that goes because (IMO) the reason Lissandro won in 2022 was his showmanship and ability to command the stage. I also love the overall aesthetic and IK Armenia is gonna nail the staging of this! Leo is one to watch! 7. Ireland So… here's the thing. At first I wasn't thinking this meshed with Enya that well. But then the music video came out mere days later and turned my opinion on its head. The reorchestration makes it feel more rock-y, more Enya. She's confident in it, it feels like the song really is her own. And of course her movement energy/stage presence is something I really appreciate. 8. Spain Definitely a callback to their victorious song in 2004, especially on the 20th anniversary of that win. Chloe has so much energy and IK the staging and performance will be epic from Spain. And of course that signature Spanish flair! Not as good as some of the recent past Spanish entries and not quite top 5 for me, but very Junior and def a winner contender. 9. Italy I love it when songs sound fun but have some unexpected depth! The "the only war is with pillows" part was golden and I'm digging the '80s / '90s -ish vibe! He's inviting all the other JESC entrants to his big global party and I'm here for it! And from what I've heard before, he *slays* his live performances. 10. Malta His range impresses me and I love his emotional depth. And the fact that it's an adoption song where he thanks his parents for finding him, the lost little star, is just so beautiful. And of course... yay fully Maltese song! First one in JESC! But of course it all comes down to the final live. High notes = high stakes. 11. Cyprus welcome back! I love the vibes, so beachy/chill vacay, just so Cypriot! Could be best Cypriot result? Curious about the dance break in the live performance. But I have good feelings 😊 it's getting a little low in my personal preferences with better songs out but that doesn't mean I think the song is bad. 12. Albania This was down, then up, then down again for me. This waltz of flowers references the JESC theme without feeling in your face. The orchestrations are really impactful - just what it needed! - and bring out those “NO! Don't mess with the flowers!” moments! But it's just not holding up against others for me. middle-low is probably an accurate predictor of where it'll end up tbh. 13. North Macedonia Cool track, the hook is catchy. Great song for if you're going on a run 😊 N. Macedonia's made some weird staging logistic decisions in the past few years though, and so I hope this doesn't suffer from that on JESC day. It also ends up getting lost for me in this year of daring high notes, other energetic performers, and some deep meaning ballads. 14. Germany Bjarne's emotions really come through! This will hinge on the emotions and live staging, being able to show the “screen vs IRL beauty” concept. Unfortunately I see this getting swallowed up by stronger songs. Doesn't help that it was released first. 15. France chill, easy listening, France is sticking to a formula that has worked for them so far. Problem is, with such a high standard they set... that will likely backfire as this one clearly isn't as good as J'Imagine or Coeur. The lyrics don't feel as thought out as with previous entries. I don't see France getting its third straight win. 16. San Marino this is on the adults making delegation decisions, but... a girl group song with no solo verse moments and no real power moments to engage the audience? That is confusing me. There's potential if the delegation changes the arrangement, but the song seems mid to me. 17. Poland Not a good song… such a shame as Dominik has lots of charisma. The revamp actually made it worse, and the reference to the theme doesn't work and feels too in your face. Sorry Dominik, Poland might be entering its struggle era with this one.

Did a bit of reshuffling and pondering, but here's my final ranking! 1. Portugal - Wow. Just wow. This song has slowly become my obsession over the past week and my oh my is it incredible. Number one all the way ❤💚 2. Ukraine - this would he an excellent winner, but realistically I want my entire top 6 to win so that's besides the point. Very good energy still, and I can't wait to see how the staging evolves in Madrid 3. Ireland - very much a dark horse, this has grown on me tremendously since the nf and it could clinch the win if the staging is perfect 4. Spain - Fun, cute, and reminds me if loviu, so of course it's good 5. Armenia 🆕️ - very groovy, top 5 is firmly in Armenia's crosshairs this year 6. Estonia - really grown on me, if this wins I wouldn't be mad in the slightest 7. Cyprus - really nice vibe and a strong effort from Cyprus, let's see how they get on 8. Georgia - gorgeous ballad, gorgeous vocals, not my favourite of the ballads though 9. Netherlands - starting to grow off this song a bit, but it's still pretty strong 10. Malta - still gorgeous, I hope it does well 11. Germany - underrated bop, but there are better songs 12. Albania - revamp ruined this song a bit for me, I still like it though 13 San Marino - chorus is lacklustre, but still a good first effort for SM 14. Italy - other than the catchy hook, there's nothing going for this 15. France - grown on me slightly, still jot my favourite style of song 16. North Macedonia - massively fallen out of favour, I can never tell who is singing and when 17. Poland - can't elevate a bad song, 0/10 It is so hard to rank this year, a lot of quality in the top 10 for sure

My top 16 from France 🇫🇷 : 1-🇪🇦 This song is great and catchy. It's a shame that it's underestimated, even the Spaniards themselves don't believe in this song and prefer to criticize it. Spain could be first in the jury vote. 2-🇦🇲 Perfect! Armenia is so strong at Junior Eurovision, this song could easily win. 3-🇺🇦 This song is incredible 4-🇨🇾 the song is so catchy, Greek is such a wonderful language 5-🇲🇰 why is it so underrated? It's a really good one. I hope that during the live show they won't be alone without dancers or decor like last year, let's not let such potential go to waste. 6-🇫🇷 Good song, catchy. Euro-fans complain about France and its similar songs, but the country knows how to attract votes: a childish song. I admit that I don’t share your tastes. The Macedonian song 🇲🇰 is quite nice but is very poor in terms of the chorus and the word "Run" is repeated I don't know how many times so honestly I'm afraid it won't rank in the Top 10... For the song Georgian 🇬🇪, Andria has a very beautiful voice ❤️ but the song is too soft and boring and we can see that in recent years, it's more catchy songs that win so I'm afraid that Georgia won't rank in the Top 10 either. For the French song 🇫🇷, Titouan has a very beautiful voice ❤️ and although the song is poorer than "Cœur", it remains catchy and carries a beautiful message (tolerance in the face of difference). It never stays in one place for long but flows nicely and is easily one of my favourites and one I’ll be voting for and it was even better live at JSF. This is a very good song for getting high on my Top but unfortunately I don’t think it has many People putting it in there Top 3 but hopefully I'm proven wrong and it does well) 2. Portugal 🇵🇹 Victoria Nicole - Espreança (#15) (This is by far the best Ballad. And Victoria has by far the best vocals. Its not often I say this about a ballad in modern Junior Eurovision but this is Winner Potential especially because the Jurys will be behind this which is more important than the Televote because the Televote os closer than the Jurys and this is a song I listen to) 3. Ukraine 🇺🇦 Artem Kotenko - Hear Me Now (#14) (This is Winner Potential. As much as I preferred Zlata This song is great and One I would choose to listen to and its a contender to win the whole show as you would expect when you consider that this song had to beat Zlata who would have been one of the favourites had she made it, The whole selection is strong) 4. Ireland 🇮🇪 Enya Cox Dempsey - Le Chéile (#16) (This song is a fun song and one I enjoy listening to and I reckon this will finish higher than people expect. I don’t have much to say but I don’t think much needs to be said) 5. Cyprus 🇨🇾 Maria Pissarides - Crystal Waters (#05) (The Studio version is pretty good but this song is made for Junior Eurovision and will do very well and is definitely Winner Potential and Is one I would choose to listen to) 6. France 🇫🇷 Titouan - Comme Ci, Comme Ça (#06) (As someone learning French I'm always keen to hear what France sends to Both Adult or Junior Eurovision Because I always know it will be in French? Is this Frances best song ever? No. Did anyone, including Myself want it to be? No. Is France going to keep their incredible record with this song? Oui Oui. T For the First time in a Long time I don’t think France is Winning Potential but it is Top 5 Potential and I reckon that’s what France are going for. I do feel a little bit bad for Titouan because everyone wants him to lose despite the fact he has a very good song and people would want him to do win in Just about any other circumstances. Italy 🇮🇹 Simone Grande - Pigiama Party (#01) (Great Opening song. I really like it and think it’s underrated. Not enough to be winner Potential but still one I would choose to listen to and definitely deserves to be Top Half) 8. Albania 🇦🇱 Nikol Çabeli - Vallëzoj (#03) (Thanks Albania for forgiving us after we absolutely bullied you last year. This is a song I really like. I wouldn't put it in Winner Potential but I would choose to listen to this. I would highly recommend checking out the lyrics in English if you haven’t already because knowing the lyrics makes the song even better.) 9. San Marino 🇸🇲 Idols SM - Come Noi (#13) (I don’t know why but I like this song abd would choose to listen to it. It’s probably because of the chemistry between the girls. The look really close and look like they are having fun. It won’t do well in Madrid but Hopefully they continue to have fun) 10. Estonia 🇪🇪 ANNABELLE - Tänavad (#02) (At first I was confused about the hype of this song but Its growing on me. Don’t think its Top 5 worthy but it’s a cool song. Hopefully Estonia does well after last year’s absolute robbery. My 2nd Favourite song gets 2nd Last and Im still not over it. At least leasy my Favourite won) 11. Armenia 🇦🇲Leo - Cosmic Friend (#04) (This For me falls just shy of Winner Potential but this will be right up there in Madrid. The Start caught me by surprise the first time I listened to it but unfortunately it didn’t go anywhere. Decent song probably won’t listen to it all the time. Another 12th Place????) 13. Spain 🇪🇸 Chloe DelaRosa - Como La Lola (#10) (You can tell this song is representing Spain without needing to be told. Its a good song for people who like this sort of Music but its not my type of Music and Im not a huge fan but I can only imagine the Audience in Madrid will be very loud for this) 14. Germany 🇩🇪 Bjarne - Save The Best For Us (#11) (I think Germany got Adult and Junior Eurovision mixed up this year. They sent something that does well to the Adult contest and and underwhelming song to Junior Eurovision. Normally its the other way Round. The choir part is cool but is not enough to save this song for me) 15. Poland 🇵🇱 Dominik Arim - All Together (#08) (This song is ok but even the revamp doesn’t do much for me but the Revamp is better than the original) 16. Georgia 🇬🇪 Andria Putkaradze - To My Mom (#09) (I find this song boring. Its not amazing and thats what ballads at Junior Eurovision need to be these days and after Poland the Kids will be extremely bored and I never really connected to it) 17. I admit that I don’t share your tastes. The Macedonian song 🇲🇰 is quite nice but is very poor in terms of the chorus and the word "Run" is repeated I don't know how many times so honestly I'm afraid it won't rank in the Top 10... For the French song 🇫🇷, Titouan has a very beautiful voice ❤️ and although the song is poorer than "Cœur", it remains catchy and carries a beautiful message (tolerance in the face of difference). Full ranking with short comments. Possibly there might still be some changes. All in all, it's a fine year but only a handful truly interest me. 1 - Georgia | Andria Putkaradze - To My Mom 10/10 Quite a beautiful composition. Andria performs it in such a meaningful interpretation Reckon it really stands out in a somewhat mainstream selection. Should do well with jurors. 2 - Albania | Nikol Çabeli - Vallezoj 8/10 Althought its revamp wasn't to my liking, song's still one of the more interesting in the lineup. Dark and enthralling melody, yet not off-putting or creepy. Juries supported "Bota Ime", they should support this too, hopefully. 3 - Estonia | Annabelle Ats - Tanavad 8/10 Slightly worried about this as I fear this might be the fan-favourite flop of the year. It's one of the more modern entries and, had it not been in Estonian, I could totally see it being played on the radios 4 - Armenia | Leo - Cosmic Friend 8/10 Long-awaited newcomer delivers what we were expecting from Armenia. Incredibly crisp sound and high-value production. Actually reminds me of "Oh Maman", as in, it's very groovy, as well. Has a shot at winning, though I'm worried for the live vocals. 5 - Ukraine | Artem Kotenko - Hear Me Now 7/10 Has grown off me slightly and that might be because it's been out for a long time. I can only take so many "NANANA"s until I get tired. Still think it's a strong overall package and is safely in the Top 3. 6 - Cyprus | Maria Pissarides - Crystal Waters 6/10 Everything below Ukraine is more on the mediocre side of things. This is a fun/tropical vibe, but feels rather amateurish. I'm surprised the fandom is liking it as much as it is since this does remind me of "Utopian Land" and that was vicously hated. I like it but see it as a possible bottom 3 placer. There's not much here for juries. 7 - France | Titouan Hervo - Comme Ci, Comme Ça 6/10 As of now, I think it's gonna win. The way the JESC voting system is set up, juries are always going to have the upper hand when it comes to picking who's winning and this ticks every box on their list. Titouan seems fun and so is the song, but I find it pretty uninteresting. 8 - San Marino | Idols SM - Come Noi 6/10 Never seen such an obvious last place before. Actually, verges into guilty pleasure material. Terrible, bad production and yet it's so fun. Hope the girls have fun, that's what matters. They do bring me fun for sure haha. Tiny bit iconic. 9 - Portugal | Victoria Nicole - Esperança 5/10 Crucify me. Great to see out entry being so loved, however, stylistically, I find it very basic. This honestly reminds me a lot of "Hurricane" which, according to many, was such a bad/derivative entry and yet, this is in everyone's Top 3 lol. Even the whistle notes! Victoria is a star and I'm sure she'll give us our best result. 10 - Malta | Ramires Sciberras - Stilla Ckejkna 5/10 Remains dull and very aged but I can't help liking it a bit. Similarly to Iceland 2018, you know it's bad by all meters, but it's still a loveable effort and that's hard to really hate. Performing last, it might surprise like Simão did in 2021? 11 - Germany | Bjarne - Save The Best For Us 5/10 Again, cute little effort here but, man, is this song uneven. The EDM part isn't even close to fitting in with the rest lol. However, I think they did do a great job with its revamp as it would've been dead on arrival without it. This has a shot for a possible Top 10. 12 - North Macedonia | Ana & Aleksej - Marathon 4/10 Underwhelming coming from a country that's usually so good at Jesc. Production-wise, it's good but lacks ideas and choruses reflect that: "Run-run-run-run-run-run". It's a hard song to stage and it's North Macedonia. I'm sure we won't be seeing it placing higher than 12th. 13 - Italy | Simone Grande - Pigiama Party 4/10 Afraid I can't really get on with this in the studio, but might be better live. His voice is edited in such a way that it sounds grating to me, but live that can't really happen. Song's solid. 14 - Ireland | Enya Cox Dempsey - La Cheile 4/10 Figured this could've been guilty pleasure material and, to an extent, that's true. It does remind me of "Diamonds in the Sky". However, production on this track feels very clonky to the point of it bothering me. Sounds cheap. I think this is also a contender for the bottom 3. 15 - Spain | Chloe DelaRosa - Como La Lola 3/10 Jesus Christ, isn't this annoying. The rest of the song is fine ok and all good, and then that chorus comes and fully wrecks whatever there was here for me. Absolutely drives me nuts. It'll do well and Chloe is great too (don't come for me Spanish Eurofans), but this is far from my thing. 16 - Poland | Dominik Arim - All Together 3/10 We have a few other ballads, most of whom aren't already that good, but this one gets the cake when it comes to being dull. Seriously this is such a generic *insert peace ballad* type of entry. Dominik's talents are wasted on this track. 17 - Netherlands Stay Tuned - Music 2/10 Out of all entries, this one bores me the most. It's not actively bad, but it's just so tired. They're fun kids and I'm sure they'll deliver a great performance, but this one gets a pass from me. All from me. Good video, Rolly.

I admit that I don’t share your tastes. The Macedonian song 🇲🇰 is quite nice but is very poor in terms of the chorus and the word "Run" is repeated I don't know how many times so honestly I'm afraid it won't rank in the Top 10... For the song Georgian 🇬🇪, Andria has a very beautiful voice ❤️ but the song is too soft and boring and we can see that in recent years, it's more catchy songs that win so I'm afraid that Georgia won't rank in the Top 10 either.
