Georgia’s staging focused on art, poetry and storytelling. But one criteria generally overlooked when judging in a song contest is the emotion the singer makes you feel. Georgia won because of Andria’s sincerity, innocence, warmth, vocal mastery and emotional power on stage, all of which climaxed into a huge tear jerking moment. He felt every single word and made us feel them with him and united us all. (If you know the subject of the song and its context it gets even stronger) When you understand that music is not about all these polished production values, but rather about feelings, you will understand why Georgia got a landslide victory😊

I heard Victoria missed the high notes in the jury selection performance. Might explain why she didn't get as many jury votes. I thought Ukraine was the best performance on the night but well done Georgia, it was a good performance too.

Sorry but....the Jesc....must be a multi things....music,voice, composition that made a song. This is not a festival off voices....iff it is the ESC must be all so.

Regarding Georgia's song, nothing escaped me, simply opinions, everyone has their own, but if we analyze the 3 compositions of a song, Georgia's has a fantastic voice, but otherwise it's a banal song, the Portuguese girl wrote the lyrics, composed the music and sang. It also caused a sensation at the real festival, where many of the spectators had never heard the songs. The public vote was clear. For the people, Georgia didn't win. Because the mixture of the three components Portugal was better. If they do the same to adults.... no one complains.... because the criteria will be the same.

Georgia's entry was the only one classified as "perfection". That's why it won. Believe it or not, vocals play a major role and perfect performance is a MUST. He stood out in every way and was better than others, so he won.
