Junior is Kidnapped | Dino King: Journey to Fire Mountain

The next morning, Junior attempts to hunt a Pachycephalosaurus to prove himself to his father. But he is ambushed by five Raptors; he calls for Speckles to come and save him while the Raptors taunt him. Speckles hears the cries of his son and rushes to save him, but the Raptors quickly grab Junior and run back the way they came. Speckles chases them to the edge of his territory, where two of the Raptors attempt to stall him and allow the others to escape. Speckles throws them both off a cliff, but is dragged off himself, plunging downwards into the river below. After dragging himself from the river, he attempts to track Junior and his kidnappers, but it soon begins to rain, and both Junior's tracks and scent are washed away. Speckles roars in anger, promising himself that he will find his son...whatever it takes.

The designs of these raptors are definitely better than the first one. I like how they added quills along their backs as well as feathers on their forearms, and also made them larger like a trademark Deinonychus would be.

I know! Originally, I theorised that the mutant dino was One-Eye, or Speckles' Mother, having both been in water when they died, possibly leading to their bodies getting swept somewhere they would mutate. Yeah, I agree it didn't really stack up to the first one in terms of epicness, but it was a good continuation all the same. And Odin Eye entertainment have said they're excited to use Speckles more, so we most likely haven't seen the last of Speckles and Junior! Good to have someone else to discuss Speckles with!
