Just appreciate the fact they respect the music and keep it going. I’m from Ohio and similar age to The Keys. I got into them through being a Fat Possum Records nerd growing up. And The Black Keys introduced thousands, millions of people to RL, Junior, and the like. People who otherwise would never had even heard that boogie drone of RL. Talking Heads are just an 80’s pop version of RL. One chord. Drone it and groove it. Nobody hates on them. Everything is an imitation of something cool that came before. ESPECIALLY in blues music. That’s the beauty in it.
