I'm going to miss the kids that didn't go through! I would be an awful Taskmaster because I think all these kids were amazing and I'd never be able to give them low scores. Rose and Mike do a great job at keeping it fun despite having to give points, though, and the kids are all lovely hyping each other up

I didn't expect this to be very entertaining to an adult but this is hilarious. A bit different than regular Taskmaster but I still laughed a lot watching this!
@EdwardLindon11 күн бұрын
I really enjoyed and appreciated how they didn't talk down to the children. One of my favourite things as a child was authors and people in general who would speak in a rich, adult-like way and expect the children listening to be able to follow along. Maybe you don't understand everything at first, but you get a sense of what they're saying, and it gives you an intimation of a world of meaning beyond your current level of understanding. Also, there's a huge gulf between a child's active range of expression and their level of passive understanding, so it's very validating to be spoken to in a way that you can follow, even if you couldn't produce the same utterances spontaneously.

Usually not a fan of junior franchise shows, but I love how Rose and Mike handled the kids as well as just love their personalities. They were my favorites in their respective seasons and I'm just we get to see more of them! Maybe finally we'll have a healthy cooperative Taskmaster and Assistant Duo!

@gladtobeangry11 күн бұрын
Yeah, 5 shows with 2 kids each going through to the semi's. Two semi finals with 5 kids each, and we'll have to see how they select the last one to go to the finals. Probably the highest scorer out of the two kids in 3rd place. Or, an elimination task for the two 3rd place semi finalists.

It's quite impressive that those children have impeccable humour timing, character and are witty, much more than many comedians on the "adult show". And also, Mike and Rose are an incredible duo. Well done, Mr. Alex Horne.

I'm a little sad that Lazer didn't make it to the next stage, because he's not just clever, he's got a real Taskmaster vibe. Not just spotting the clues in the mash task, but also when Rose asks about his outfit and he says, "came with a headpiece... no," I was like, man, this kid is good. Saying hello to the camera in Mike's hat, too. He's just really tuned in.
