Thanks. On Junos you need to configure a firewall filter then apply it on a specific interface as an inbound filter. Here you can find an example: www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/junos/routing-policy/topics/example/firewall-filter-stateless-example-act-on-sampling.html There are multiple things you can do with firewall filters, but this one in the example will count the packets. f you then do a show firewall log, it will give you a lot more info.

Sorry you didnt enjoy the content delivery in this video. Many people seemed to enjoy it, but it is understandable that some dont. It was meant to be a quick, fast-paced tips video to get in as many tips as possible in as little time as possible, similar to those "phone tips and tricks" videos. But Your point is well noted and when doing a similar video again I'll slow it down a bit!
