Your grandson is going to love his journal. I made a Koala journal for our 7yr old granddaughter. Its so cute to watch her craft in it & collect "treasures" to put in her junk journal. We also made a Garden theme journal for her mother for mothers day this year, together. It was great fun watching her pick out the various papers, fabric & ephemera to go in the journal. I also let her "sew" in the signatures ( with close supervision). It was a fun project that we both enjoyed.
