I am also a science person. When I discovered junk journaling, it opened another dimension, I entered a portal to a new world. I am not a naturally creative person but I am improving and… it reduces stress like the best ever medication in the whole world.

For this journal, I made the whole thing myself after gutting the whole book. I do have a video where I make an altered book. For that type of book, I do remove pages and glue the remaining. 😁

I get about the left-side brain: I am a programmer, so ... that says a lot about being creative; but I do work at it. I do journal, but my journal is mostly a diary and not very artsy. And it's never this large. I can see where something this big would feel daunting .... At times I make cards, I hand embroider (slow stitch) or hand quilt small pieces. And I love my camera and Photoshop. Finding creative flow is absoloutely necessary for people like us. I also got a kick out of separating drink vessel from the one used for paint 😀 Yes, it's been done! Happy Holidays!
