I love you reckless abandonment crafts! Don't worry about dull punches or scissors, you can sharpen them with just punching or cutting into foil, over and over, until they're sharpened, again! I didn't believe it, until I tried it myself on a couple punches that I got in goody bags from the Thrift store...I was pleasantly surprised that it really worked! It may take several repetitive cuts or punches, but it definitely works! Stay Happy, Healthy and Safe! 👍😷💜❤🧡💛💚💙💡✂️

I’m a big believer in sepia inking the edges. I really like how the green and coral inks look on your page. Problem is now I’m gonna have to buy some more ink. Oh well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s nothing else for it! Idea on the bingo cards: create a triangle pocket glued on each number with a little circle peeking out as the token.

I have to say I wasn’t sure I could watch you particularly because of the bird noise in the background. I watch videos to calm myself because I have an anxiety disorder.. Pam, before you purchase a new punch, use some foil (kitchen tin foil) to punch the hole. It sharpens the punch ! Every few months, I have a sharpening session with all my punches and it works great!

I have several pair of my Morhers very good scissors that are a bit dull and the cost to have them sharpened professionally is not possible so they sit in a drawer sad and alone. I live so far out from people so I will try the aluminum. Is there any trick to how you cut on it or do I just make foil confetti with them until they are sharp? Thanks

Susan fold some foil a few times and make several cuts into it. Also, Epbot has a video on how to sharpen larger scissors using a knife sharpener.

I love 'blended' on the edge also. My daubers are all 'family' colors too, makes life interesting and beautiful. Maybe some aluminum foil for your punches to sharpen them a little, but humidity is an awful thing to deal with.

The colored inks are great for laying down pigment but not as helpful for aging and distressing. Which I do a lot of in my journals. That’s why we so often use browns and blacks. BTW. The blended look is stunning.

That was not a thumb divot Pam, that was a whole hand divot. I decided to do increasingly smaller flips instead of the pocket. I don’t have a sewing machine and discovered how hard it is to glue just on the crease. Managed to make the top triangles flip but the bottom halves do not flip up in anything resembling a triangle. As always, I enjoyed your video.
