I’m kinda torn on that because I love a chunky book but I also like it to close without an actual closing.. I love your minimalist way tho.. my style is a bit busier and I seem to have to have some color in order for my eyes to be pleased with my own work.. when I look at others that are like yours my eyes really love it too tho.. my next challenge to myself is to do a minimalist type tho and see how I like the process and see when I go back into looking at it how I feel.. I do really love your style because it’s different from mine but makes my eyes happy to look at and I love your videos so relaxing.. 💜💜✌️

Yes totally get that, I'm really torn on this topic as well. Thank you so so much for the lovely feedback ❤️ I would highly recommend pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, its always good for our creativity to get challenged, you can always go back to your go to style, if you prefer it. But maybe you find a detail in your experiment that you can carry on into your creative work in the future 😊 sometimes its good to challenge ourselves, but don't be to hard on yourself when creating, just make it a fun experiment and see if you like it. Happy creating!

My mixed media art journals tend to have a little bit of everything in them.... but... MOST of the pages are fairly flat. But now that I'm doing more Junk journaling, my art journals have less "extras".... My junk journals get very chunky quickly, and I love it. 😃👍 I love doing paper cutting in my art journals. 😃 Your page is great. 😃👍 I kept mine simple. 🙂

I can’t answer your question about preferring a chunky journal to a more flat one, as this is my first junk journal. I had a chuckle when you mentioned spending about 20 minutes crafting. I spend hours on one spread. It’s because I’m not organized and I don’t have all the different elements most crafters use. I have to make do with what I have. Still enjoying it though. Thanks again for a very beautiful spread and entertaining video.

It’s commpletly Fine to take your Time with you creations & being Creative! 😊 that’s awsome if you have the Time! Would love to be able to dedicate more Time each day to my Creativity. There will be Days when it is possible again. Hi Rita! I love “chunky-monkeys” & this one is no exception! I added in a lot of envelopes, because I thought that later I could stick good ideas for JJ’s in it & maybe I’d be able to find them!
