Morning Tina, thank you for your inspiration. It is surprising what can be done with just a dab of distressing ink. Makes everything lovely and vintagey. The clusters are so pretty and I love to have some available because they always come in handy. I am sure lots of people are learning such a lot, it is good to go right back to basics and to remember how to use what we have. Hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family. Blessings and hugs. Diana

These clusters are so pretty. I wish I’d seen something like this when I first started papercrafting, I always felt I had to use things as printed etc. So even though I’ve made a few clusters this gives me more ideas to try for a mass make very soon. So useful as you say. I love the colour of the paper in the old book. I’ve always loved the smell and the texture as well. I’ve bought a few things (hmmm....🙄😁) this month. Perhaps hubby will treat me to a trip to The Range near us. Happily shielding ends this weekend so I can shop in person rather than a well known firm. Hugs 🌸💐

Hi Tina, late watching you tonight as I’ve been busy finishing 2 journals for my shop. Love, love love the altered book, it’s coming along really nicely. I have made quite a lot of the things you have shown us how to do, but as yet not really made that many cluster, so really must make some. Hi Tina, weirdly I went into our The Range earlier before I saw this. It's obviously not as extensive as yours. (Newark, Notts). I have been Junk Journalling on and off for a few months. Never thought about clusters, they look great, so I am inspired by yours. I would never in a million years have used and old book, and I do prefer -definitely- to make them from scratch using the three pamphlet stitch, though. But I am loving this series. Thanks x

Thank you for claryfiing the flower, I am terrible with my botanical knowledge! Lack of perhaps I should say, other than daffodils, I am completely in the dark!!! Haha. Oh I have seen those hessian flowers somewhere before, they are gorgeous x
@prof.mommyarty3 жыл бұрын
Lol we're kinda coming close to the end of my knowledge now! Just some I've grown x
@Sherry1946AL3 жыл бұрын
I have hydrangeas. An interesting thing about them is that they get their color based on the soil they are in. The more acid the soil has, the more blue the hydrangeas will be. With virtually no acid in the soil, the flower will be pink. You often grow hydrangeas that have both blue and pinkish, as well as a purplish color, all on the same bush. Now, why the white ones are white, I just don’t know. The limitation of my knowledge of the field of horticulture may be read above.

Ugh -- we have all of these kittens -- their departure dates keep getting pushed back due to covid -- double ugh -- so I don't know which was dirtier, all of my floors in the kitchen, dining, living room and hallway, or the words in my brain I was calling these kittens for getting into the trash and tracking things I do not want to think about all through the house -- luckily, I have one of those steam cleaners -- they are wonderful; mine is a bissell and costs about a hundred US dollars on Amazon -- best purchase ever; they say not to, but I also throw in some pinesol or other cleaner -- so after grousing, and then being pleased the floors are clean -- for now; give 'em 10 minutes -- I retired to my boudoir and gracefully placed myself upon my bed -- no, I didn't. I came in; shut the door to keep those troublesome, but still adorable, meowers out of my room, and plopped down on the bed and turned on youtube and this was first on my recommended list, and I immediately clicked -- I loved it. I'm so glad you are doing this series because you explain it so well. My son and I have dinner together once a week, even though we live in the same house, but we rotate what we watch on tv, and it was my turn to pick, and so I pulled up youtube and your video for shopping for supplies. He said -- direct quote: we're not watching that. Me: Yes, we are; it's my turn. I had to watch a video game last time. HIM: No, we are not. You already have enough supplies. ME: It's either that or a "My Pretty Pony" cartoon. He chose the cartoon, and then we settled on Flea Market Flip. Such is my exciting life. Love the series, Patricia -- PS: Of course I came back and watched it on the computer while I ate cheesecake dessert !!! But tonight is dinner night (ribs -- yummo) and it's his turn and I think I have to watch alien vs. predator -- ugh .........

A house full of kittens how cuteeeeeee, although I am sure looking after such a bunch of them is not quite as great as it sounds. Oh I laughed at your comment so much! Love all the pieces you made today! You make it look so easy to make 🥰 Why don't try to cut the end of the petals of the flowers you bought- like you did in a video a while ago, making paper flowers, maybe they won't look so 'big' .... And yes, practice make perfect when it comes to fussy cutting... Yeah, and we would get an opportunity to use some of those colored stamp pads we think we have to have. This is how sick I am - if I buy one stamp pad, I have to have the entire set. For instance, because I often color my stamped images with various wet media, the only black I use is the “jet black” StazOn by Tsukineko. But for some reason, I think I have to own ALL the StazOn pads. I do often use the Timber Brown, but I have colors of StazOn pads that I have NEVER used. Not ever! Talk about insanity! I made a New Years resolution this year not to buy anything that I already own in another brand or form. I’ve actually done very well with that resolution. I’ll look at something and consider buying it, then this little voice in my head says, “Use what you have!” And, amazingly, I pass it by without purchasing it. Usually. Most of the time. Well, sometimes. No, seriously, I am buying much less than I used to buy.
