Oohhh yes! You discovered the layered stamping technique! Try stamping the image and without re inking stamp again on either side with the flower stem in the same place as the other. I hope I explained myself clearly! It gives it almost 3D look!

Hello Pam, I don't think I have commented on any of your videos before, but I wanted to leave a comment on this one!! Why this one? Well, I am new to junk journaling and I was inspired by the fact my new printer prints out Sudoku puzzles, to make one of my Mum's best friends a sudoku folio made using Amazon packaging (the type you normally get books in, with the flaps inside!!). What's that got to do with this video? Well, the Sudoku pages had the answers on, and to stop her being able to cheat...lol...I cut them off and made little answer booklets. Then I was confronted with the dilemma, how do I present these in a way that is pretty, doesn't take up too much space and also was easy!! Then I remembered this video...and so, I used some pockets I had printed off using a digital kit I bought off of Etsy, and I stacked them (under where the flaps are!!) and decorated the booklets!! It worked perfectly for what I wanted. What I am trying to say, in a round about way, is thank you. Thank you for the inspiration and the idea, but most of all, thank you for all the time and effort you put in to this and all you're videos. I feel I have learnt a lot from watching your videos. And thank you also for helping me finish my first entire project. I am so proud of it and excited for many more. Hi Ruth, I go to thrift stores and buy all sorts of books, old dictionaries, old novels, field guides, I feel the paper and ask do I like the feel? I look at the color and pick lots of variety so I have pages to play with!! Apparently I had a lot of fun at the thrift store! And remember that the dollar tree sells hard cover books for a $1 too! Also garage sales and flea markets etc !!

Hi! I have a few videos set to be shown on this Wed and Friday. That is why they look private. I don't know how to get around that. I am sure it confuses folks. I am trying to backstock some videos to cover the Christmas season so when I travel I can turn them on and keep new stuff coming for everyone :) I may have to take a look at that to see whether I can make it look different.
