I have been journaling for the past one and a half years and it has been a great experience. I like how I put together so much. I have a diary that I have converted to a journal and basically, it is starting from scratch. Your videos help me a lot in designing it. I do a two page/ month journal and I really love it. Awwww I love that wallpaper piece of yellow florals at 3:26. If it’s not too much trouble, please scan or draw something similar, I love vintage yellows and greens that are bright but yet muted. I just love golden yellows and golden colors! Beautiful journaling as always, helped me with my journal I’m trying to finish. It was the first one I ever made but the pages were already binded and the pages are so bare, I lose inspiration. Can’t wait to journal more with this inspiration, thank you! Hi Johanna just wondering we’re do you find a lot of your ephemera? I used to be a scrapbooked but got rid of it all after moving so often (rookie error, never get rid of craft supplies😜). I have recently been inspired by yourself and couple of other talented ladies to start journaling, but to be honest I’m struggling to find much vintage stuff around 🥴 Also what part of Australia are you from? They're cicadas

She wrote in the corner at 2:55 that the sound is cicadas, which are a type of bug that usually fly in hoards and eat up crops. They’re usually found in warmer climates and they’re as annoying as beetles and mosquitoes put together actually. Idk if they’re harmful to humans though but people sometimes eat them. I never experienced them but from videos, it’s a little creepy.

@@-lovecassy_333 actually I think you’re confusing cicadas with locusts. Locusts are the ones that destroy crops. Cicadas are just loud and annoying.
