So it seems I'm not alone. This song reminds me of the first girl I'd say I loved, aka my ex. 4 years of knowing and loving her ... getting together at the 4th year as bf and gf. All by the simple result of us not being able to hide it anymore for I've stood with her through 2 rapes and one suicide attempt, I was the one that really wanted to make her happy... and that was the only thing I wanted to do. But one day she begins talking with an old friend and crush of hers.... and whom was also a girl. She did always wonder how it would be in a gay relationship. I notice something is wrong... but I try not to mind because I don't wanna be that bf whom is worried and gets jealous, I wanted to trust my gf... I did not want to believe she'd ever hurt me in such a way. But it gets harder and harder to contact her, her telling me she is waiting for this girl to come home so she can talk to her instead... but there is this song in the background of her room..... THIS SONG. I did like this song... it was catchy and by appearance was a song about happiness... hell I even sang it to her. But the day comes when she tells me that she have been fooling around with this girl, that she have been cheating on me when they meet for the first time. telling me she regret it and that it was not for her... and begging me to forgive her. I was angry but I was so damn inlove with her so I took her back. 6 months onward she breaks up with me for mystic reasons.... I later find out that she dates a new dude 2 weeks later and I know she have been cheating on me again. But I ask myself the question "was she ever mine?". It happens once again with another girl... wanting her to be happy, yet she cheats and tells me to forgive her. same story happening again. Now scared from my 2 relationships... left in fear of really having one, I look back at this song... and cannot help but to think that this really resonates what have been happening to me. This is the song that I was left with from my first heartbreak... and I finally know that it is NOT a happy song, it never was! I was blinded by the junk that love really gives me, the junk of the heart... letting the jokers play around with it when I only wanted to make them happy and to make them feel alive. But where they ever "mine"? Nothing made them shatter and nothing really given in return... only heartbreak and the feeling of being AFRAID of relationships. I mean heck I even have this song whom I once thought was catchy and happy, having the power to bringing a grown man to tears. But that is what this song means to ME.

This song makes me both happy and sad tho. It's sad because I wish I could have made my ex bf happy (I did made him happy but he had a lot of stress so I wanted to help him) I just wish I made him happier. It does makes ma happy too. I just imagine my ex and me having a great time. I miss him and I still love him. Tomorrow would've been our anniversary but things happened. I'm okay though, he still worries and cares about me.
