JUNKANOO BEACH BAHAMAS 🇧🇸
Also known as the Western Esplanade, this area joins the beach at Arawak Cay and Long Wharf, the two beaches near downtown Nassau which are just a few minutes walk from the cruise ship dock. Although a popular destination for spring breakers, on Saturdays you'll find Bahamians hosting cookouts and other fund-raising activities. This area has benches where you can relax and enjoy the sight of the ships accessing the harbour. You can even experience horseback and pony rides.
Wading in the turquoise waters of Bahamas Junkanoo Beach Nassau, you watch as another cruise ship arrives in your paradise. Your eyes gaze on the big ship as it slowly anchors into the port beside Junkanoo Beach. You make your way back to the white sand beach and anchor yourself to a beach bead under the shade of a few palm trees. The cool ocean breeze glides across your face as you read about more fascinating things to do in Nassau on your Bahamas vacation. You can taste the sea salt on your tongue.
You opt for a mid-afternoon margarita on one of the best beaches in Nassau. Tomorrow you will go diving with turtles. And next, perhaps, you will go swimming with the pigs. Yes, swimming pigs!

No worries. Come to think of it the whole Caribbean I explored was pretty open to it. I even took it in to Cuba but later on found out they could have confiscated it.🤷 Fly away my friend. Love mini 3 pro 🙌👌

yes that is true Alessandro. It is the closest beach to cruise port so always filled with cruise ship people. it gets very busy

If you walk up, their advertised price is around $50 per person. you can rent them for the whole day. bike tricycle or paddle board. you can also find vouchers online

hi BreAnne. not sure about the boardwalk being under construction now. there was no construction when i was there. I have left bahamas a few days ago. boardwalk is the promenade next to the beach.
