You see something and say naw that can’t be no good? How would know if you don’t take a blooming crack at if? Well this song crossed a lot of barriers and races. That was Marvin Gaye. How would know that this would make a such an impact on the people with that soft voice Marvin had. We he spoke it was soft and pure. Most recognized like Otis Williams the original member of the Temptations. Now let me get to the vocals of this song.. Young man got some vocal talent to even try this song.. Very complimentary to the band.. He knows how to wait timings everything then step in there and let them know why they paying you.. Of course the musicians say the better you sing the better I’ll play like this Sax guy going off. Matter the brass is just killin it.. And man what comeback call and response an old time style made popular singers of Motown. Now at the end they just all fall in line and give their level best.. Glad I stopped by.. Love the opening and the first grace note at 7:14. The band starts to get interesting at 2:24. The call & response spices it up too. Good vocals -altho' they got drowned out some along the way.
