Morning Devon. I believe your channel was the first I had seen a manhole in the middle of a field. I remember how surprised I was about that! Come to think about it there was 2 on that job. One was covered and one wasn't. What doesn't surprise me is where the homeless choose to sleep and take up residence. They had rather destroy someone else's property. I love how big Munchie gets the job done. See you on the next one 😊

Yes the city always owns at least 15' to 25' feet from the Curbside of the road. That is there Right Away for the future. Just in case they are wanting to widen there road at anytime.

Not "RIGHT AWAY" but " RIGHT OF WAY" just so you know.

Daven, the lot, as a whole was not TOO bad, other than the chunks of concrete, which I hope you moved off to the end of the property line, for further safty, in case you ever have to do this lot again. Just saying. Hope the family wedding was enjoyable and you had a good time with your family. Love videos with Big Munchie! doesn't get any better than seeing her work, and see everything in her path go down..The lot as a whoile, is beautiful now, great job Daven. I can see why it made no sense to bring the brush gutter when the mulcher was there already. a waste of gas and money. Great Job!

With your aggrivation, you need the 19th Hole at Augusta, a.k.a. The Bar. The 19th Hole on any golf course is the BAR. Do you go pick up that random concrete/man hole covers, after you find them so you don't run into them next time and dog a set of teeth?
@vickirothe376124 күн бұрын
For possible future cutting of this lot, did you move that piece of concrete to on top of the manhole cover so you can avoid both? Looks good.

And for the record, I would start billing them for the damage to your equipment for the illegal dumping on the property. I get you should walk it first to remove as many equipment hazards, but really there is no excuse for the garbage being out there in the first place.
@darrengreen790624 күн бұрын
8:30 That's called the BAR.

Now you see why the bush hog stopped where he did. It may be time for a bigger trailer to fit both pieces of equipment on.Nice job.

The 19th hole is usually the unofficial name of the bar you hit after the 18th hole.

On new site projects, would it make sense to fly a drone over the field before mowing looking for obstructions? Can you adjust the depth of cut on your mulcher to preclude hitting rocks, metal etc? I enjoy your videos and commentary. Best wishes.

Is it possible to have the mulch head 7” 8” off the ground on the first pass then go back a 2nd time on the ground. Imean so you can see what’s potentially hidden in the grass. I know that doubles the amount of time you’re on site but could save damage to the machine. Thx for the vid.
@larryperdue50823 күн бұрын
I was just wondering if you use those small signs that are made of wire you stick in the ground by the street with your companies name on it for advertising like builders and painters use .
@coolumesque23 күн бұрын
Quick question if you have time. Is your mulcher similar to LetsDig19's mulcher? It seems a lot more effective but maybe it's just my perception? Thanks in advance for any answer you may give.

Yes, they are the same brand, Cancela. Devin had his first I believe.
@idigit496723 күн бұрын
They are the same, mine is just on a little more powerful machine. The ASV 120 that I run is a little more powerful when it comes to running mulchers compared to the Takeuchi TL12 that he has.

i know your probaly doing youtuber stuff or out working mulching but do you have any tips on getting started in the brushclearing bussniess
@idigit496723 күн бұрын
Start small, keep overhead low, work your way up. Also, buy a small dump truck. Something that can haul 6-8 tons. There is good side work in delivering dirt, topsoil and gravel when you aren't cutting brush.

The junk you hit doing this lot would it do more damage to the mulcher or a brush mower?
@idigit496723 күн бұрын
The mulcher. You aren't going to really damage anything on the mulcher but it tears the teeth up something awful sometimes and can reduce the life of the teeth depending on what you hit.

You are totally justified about the extra 20 miles driving. It's not like fuel is still $1 a gallon, right?
@BoomVang24 күн бұрын
It seems pointless to backdrag when the forward pass more than meets bush hogging standards. You could do a racetrack pattern to make turning easier, saving fuel, time... and not beating the soil to pieces?
@kcoop999924 күн бұрын
He does a really good job. Back dragging catches stragglers and helps mix(incorporate) the mulch(Organic material) back into the soil. This gets the nutrients back where other plants can use it. This also helps any woody pieces decompose more quickly.
