CHORD & POLYCHORD
// The Roland Juno-60 has a chord mode. It does.
1. Play a chord
2. Press hold
3. Press key transpose
4. Play your chord across the keyboard.
For those who have the Tubbutec Juno-66 upgrade installed there are two ways to use chords.
Fig.1 - CHORD MODE
1. As before, play a chord and hold it.
2. Press and hold the transpose button until it starts blinking.
3.Press the transpose button again.
4. Switch the arpeggiator lever into the down position (chord mode)
5. Play your chord transposed about the keyboard.
Notes:
You can switch in and out of chord mode using the arp lever, and the chord can be arpeggiated.
Fig.2 - POLYCHORD MODE
This mode allows us to save different chords to individual keys.
1. Play a chord and hold it.
2. Press the transpose button until it flashes.
3. Release your chord
4. Select where you would like this chord to reside on the keyboard by pressing a key.
5. Repeat as needed
6. Press transpose so that the light is on (short press)
7. Play the keys where you placed the chords.
Notes:
Notice that the keys without chords placed on them will just be single notes.
You can arpeggiate between them.
These features bring the already wonderful Juno-60 (and 6) to a whole new place.
I have rewritten/remixed the Tubbutec Juno-66 User Manual for Firmware 1.25 and you can download it here:
