Read what you wrote. "Fun version of mercy" isn't really an improvement since that's still one of the most boring characters to people with decent mechanics and confidence to carry games themselves. The only people that play and have fun with Mercy Juno LW etc are those that like taking a backseat in their games.

Im pretty sure he thinks Juno is boring for the same reason as i do, her dmg is not very high, like she can get high numbers but on a 1v1 scenario for example her dmg is pretty low

I honestly believe that every single person who plays this game is tilted when they lose. There's just something about how quickly a game can turn that makes it feel so unfair.

Personally I don't get tilted when I lose. Not frequently at least. At some point you have to accept that losing is an inevitable part of the game and you can't avoid it.

When I lose I am sometimes disappointed but accept the outcome because I could've done better/my team did their best and the enemy team was simply better. Sometimes I am extremely mad at my teammates for making very bad decisions which destroyed our chances at winning. Most of the time I see the flaws teammates make where I could've/would've done something differently. I know when my team is making a bad move because I've done those mistakes before and learned from them. However, it's hard to keep track of everything at once so I understand when my team slips up or makes a small mistake. But ulting the enemy team without the squad to back you up is never the right choice. So that is why I get mad at my team. I know when I make mistakes and I fix/account for them. But my team blames everyone except themselves. This is the mentality that kills teamwork in a team based game.

In this game you have not the agency you have in other competitive shooters. So even when carrying hard you can randomly loose some games since you absolutely have to do team tacticts to win

I recently played 100 rankeds on Juno as a challenge, it took around 20 hours on the pick. It's not that much if you scale it, but it's what adult life let me this season lol. I feel that her, as well as other heroes like Mercy or LW, are pretty much team dependant, and that's why people get much more value of her in high elo lobbies than the lower ones. Your ring, as well as your ult, get value if you position them well and your team is aware of what are you doing, besides that, you have a gun that almost can not garantee a kill and your dash that just gives you an escape. But to be fair, she has not autentical sustain, so if you're not getting peeled you may be having a bad time. Damn I swear I miss some headshots on her, because you end every single match in a max stat of 40/60 DMG/HEAL, which it's very easy to archive in other hero. People are comparing her to Ana when you need 4 shots to land 280 damage on Ana, and with Juno you can take around 4-7 seconds to do that amount, time enough for the enemy to be healed. Dunno, I can feel great sometimes with her, other times you feel absolutly garbage, she's not truly stable to me, so I prefer to focus on other heroes.

Juno has next to no skill expression. No headshots, and neither of her abilities or ult require skill, just a minimum amount of timing. I actually think reducing her primary fire damage and adding a headshot multiplier would fix a lot of the issues that players have with her.

Honestly i don't think Juno is boring. If she truly was, there wouldnt have a Juno on every match even on quick play. I think she is easy to play, though. For someone like Awkward, i can definitely see how boring she may be to him. I played a few matches with her and managed to get very good stats that I can't get with baptiste, for example.

Yeah awkward seems to like characters with high skill expression, that's why he finds her boring. Which is a fair assessment, I feel the same. Bap, ana, zen, and kiri just feel so satisfying to hit those big skill shots that can really turn the tide on a fight. Juno doesn't even have headshot multipliers so never has to aim for headshots, has a lock on auto aim ability, and her movement and hit box makes her so hard to hit you rarely have to think about positioning due to her character being a get out of jail free card

IMO Juno is the most fun hero addition since Ana. I didn't think so at first in the playtests but then decided to play her more since I got bored of all the other heroes trying to complete the BP. Damn she is so fun.
