@@cocoshairsolutions Hi Coco, and thank you for your nice response! I was just watching another of your videos, the one where you compare the cool blondes and light browns…extremely helpful. Your videos are all so helpful, and you do such a wonderful job of explaining everything! To answer your question, you might want to consider doing a review of Paula Young’s Chantal wig. It is really nice, similar to Rowan, but looks a little longer. Chantal looks much better in person than in the catalog. I think you might like it. I don’t think you have done a review on it yet, although I might have missed it on the list. Also, I have asked PY if they could provide color swatches for the Jaclyn Smith wigs, but they haven’t done so yet. That would be very helpful. I tend to like the PY preferred color #18-light ash brown (which PY never shows in any of their pictures, even though it’s a great color), but I can’t find a Jaclyn Smith color similar to that. The JS colors are all either too dark or too light. So a video on JS colors might be helpful, too. Thanks again for all you do-you are amazing! Hugs, Vivian 🙂

Sandy, it's me again. With Juno, you said you put on root powder. What color did you use? I looked at your products that you use but I'm not sure what to get because I don't like weft showing of course. Still looking for a wig that's compatible with walking in the heat here in Florida. Hi Rennie!I usually will spray a black root cover like L'Oreal or Tressemme onto the root/weft area. I like the black color better than brown for me because I have cooler undertones and the brown makes me look washed out. It doesn't take much and I'll usually just spray the area where I part it. I think if I were going to want a wig to wear in Florida humidity, I would choose something shorter like Londyn or Meg over a longer wig, just for the sake of keeping cooler. Have you tried going shorter? ~ Sandie

You showed two, I ordered the first one. Already forget her name. Love Juno! Just what I need as I also have always had very fine thin bio hair and find most wigs have too much hair for my liking, which is why I've been looking at toppers. Do you happen to know about what the density might be? Another great video, happy happy I found you :)

If you’re looking for a low density long wig, Sloane in the VersaFiber collection is a great one for us girls who have lived with thin, fine hair our whole lives! @@cocoshairsolutions I watched your video on Sloan also. It looks from the videos that Juno seems to have thinner hair at top but more on bottom than Sloan which seems to be very thin all over? You said the whisper lite is finer than the versa fiber so why does the opposite seem to be true with these two wigs?

Hi Mary! You know, that's a good question! They look like they come from 2 different factories, so manufacturers can use different criteria for making these wigs. But I will tell you that you'll have more color choices with Juno. Sloane is limited to the VersaFiber color choices (5 or 6 I think). So that might be the deciding factor for you. Good luck!

Hi Coco, I just purchased Easton in Silvery Moon based on your review! 😊 I’m going for the classy Diane Keaton or Emmylou Harris vibe that you pull off in these wigs. You look gorgeous in them! I already own Juno in Medium Auburn (I reviewed her on the PY website if you want to see that beautiful color) so I decided to try Easton. Thanks for the rooting tip- I’ll probably do that. If she’s too thick then I’m prepared to thin her. I can’t wait to receive her. She’ll be my first silver wig- Hugs🥰

Hi Liza! No I didn’t thin either wig at all but jUno is definitely less dense than Easton. Partly because Juno is a WhisperLite wig with finer hair fibers. This also makes her 20% lighter too! Thanks for watching my video and commenting! Blessings!! ❤️

I have to ask, did you thin out this wig by any chance? The reason I ask is because I ordered her but mine looks much fuller especially on the top than yours looks on you. I love it but I'm going to have to thin it out I think.

Hi Mary!! I didn’t do any thinning or trimming on either of these girls. So my guess for the difference that you see on yours vs. mine has to be due to the variations in quality control for PY and their factories. I took those pictures when I was growing out my bio hair. I pulled out the hair all along the cap line and brushed it up and back into the ponytail. That way it covered the whole cap except the bangs. Thank you so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs, Coco 😊 🤗

My Juno arrived. Tried your ponytail trick. It worked great. Looks completely natural! I’m ready for summer. I would also like a lace front wig without bangs to wear the same way. Can you suggest a good option. One with a similar density. Thanks in advance for your help. You’re awesome!!!!

I wonder if either wig comes in rooted Color’s because you can see the wefting of Juno in the rear. That can be more challenging to disguise. You will need to spend considerable time going through all the roots with powder or spray rooting color.

No unfortunately they don’t. But it really doesn’t take long to spray or paint in a dark root. All you would need to do is the part that you like wearing which usually takes me under a minute or two. 😊

What is the measurement of the bangs from the lace down ?

Hi Sharon!! For creating a darker root, I have been using L’Oreal’s spray root cover as well as Tresseme’s spray root color. One will work just as well as the other. I use a black on my silvery moon wigs so that I get that true salt and pepper color (no brown). But if you want it to be a little softer black, use dark brown spray by itself or mix it with the black. It’ll fade with washings but it’s easy to touch up! The kind of spray I use for keeping my wigs smooth and moisturized is DeMert Wig & Weave Lusterizer and Conditioner. You can find it on Amazon. Good luck!! Hugs! ❤️❤️

Most definitely! Lighter colored wigs show the wefting much easier so darkening the roots (and the cap) disguises it. Since I wear a lot of gray wigs and toppers, not all of them come in rooted colors, so I always apply root cover-up to the part or the whole top (depending on the style, and I’m very happy with the results! No one ever knows it’s not my bio hair!

@@carolb3394 thank you for your comments and wondered feedback! It looks like Juno does not come in any rooted colors. However, the color listed as SF1228, SF61314, SF1026 and SF5160 are all a higher, salon-quality color blend. This means that they have the general color family represented by the numbers, but more than that, they have more highlights and lowlights to give a more realistic, natural appearance. They also have gradient darkening of the hair fibers as you move from the sides and upper back down towards the nape in the same way our own natural bio hair tends to do . I find purchasing these colors and then adding the darker root gives a stunning color to my wigs! I use dark brown root cover up usually. And thank you for the suggestion for another video-I’ll do that! Stay tuned….!!! ❤️

How did I only recently discover your channel? I had Juno in Platinum....hated it. But, you make me want her again in Silvery Moon. And, I notice that there is not much you can do to style Juno.

Part of the beauty is that there is not much to do to style her. However we can accessorize her using barrettes headbands clips and maybe a little more volume at the top with utilizing the permatease. You could even steam her a little bit if you wanted to. But I kind a like her straight myself. She’s not a heat friendly wig so curling is really not an option. But once she starts to freeze a little bit on the ends we can take steam to her and make short order of the frizzies! You said you ordered her in platinum. What did you not like about the platinum color? I find that it’s too yellow for me and the white/black/grays bring out my complexion a little better. Have you tried silvery Moon?

I bought Juno after seeing your review. MISTAKE, she was nothing like you said. I got the same color and it was mousy with almost no hi lights. The hair was not fine, it was way too much hair. I think you must have done a lot of adjustments on Juno that you didn't mention instead of "right out of the box". I returned it so fast.

Hi Candie! I can assure you that I did nothing to adjust Juno prior to my review. Sadly, this kind of variation in quality has become very common with Paula Young wigs. If you have watched many of my other reviews, you would see this. Several other wig reviewers and I have discussed this finding amongst ourselves and find this very distressing, but we have no recourse. On the same note, if you have read the comments on my videos, you will also find that there are so many others who received exactly the wig they were hoping for. I am so sorry for your poor experience. I wish it wasn’t like this. But I’d like to encourage you too! You could order the same wig in a month or two and receive a totally perfect wig!
