Weel junpei story had been explain in P3P! He explained how he have low self-esteem, than he have a violent/alcoholic father in more details... it's pretty much heart breaking! Considering than even in P3, you pretty much understand than is mostly joking around... I really like that guy! What I like about Junpei is even though he is the dumbass bro character, he has some real good development. Somehow he is also the mature one out of the bros. Junpei is the kind of guy that intentionally makes that extra effort to be happy and bring up morale in the group. Which is why it makes me really sad to see his down moments. He has his own demons, and I love how the developers created him because in his angry moments I'm actually genuinely a bit frightened by him. Like Ryuji seems less scary to me and Yosuke doesn't seem scary at all. Idk, it's a weird thing to explain, but I just think his character is well written, jokes and frustrations, all together.
