but not the biggest, not the grandest and the most visited nor most fun, but still a beautiful festival. Congrats! The giving of Santo Nino by the Spanish people to Rajah Humabon who is a Cebuano all took place in Cebu, still Cebu is the original because Ati-atihan celebrates Santo Nino but still another beautiful festival PH. Congrats Ati-atihan!

@@marjoriepurgarillas5543 but which place or ehere was the first Santo Nino given? in Aklan or in Cebu? LOL. So what if it's the mother of all PH festivals, it's not where the first ever or actual Santo Nino was given by the Spanish to the Filipinos. Cebu was where the start of the Catholicism or Christianity first took place in the PH, but I'm happy for Ati-atihan which is another great and amazing and beautiful festival in the country that other people should see.. I hope to come and visit soon. No hate or competition just love, after all . we are Filipinos who share the same history, blood and love. Peace out! hehe..

"The festival consists of religious processions and street-parades, showcasing themed floats, dancing groups wearing colorful costumes, marching bands, and people sporting face and body paints. The street parade is known as Sadsad, which is also what the locals call their way of dancing where the foot is momentarily dragged along the ground in tune to the beat played by the marching bands. It has inspired other Philippine Festivals such as Dinagyang of Iloilo and Sinulog of Cebu, thus, it is known as the "Mother of All Philippine Festivals." en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ati-Atihan_festival
